If you have already joined a seat through NEET PG All India Round 3 counseling and now secured a better seat in your state’s Round 3 counseling, you may be able to resign from the All India seat. However, rules vary based on the counseling authority’s guidelines. Check if resigning incurs any penalty or affects eligibility. Ensure proper resignation procedures are followed to avoid issues. Always refer to official notifications or contact the authorities before making a decision.

Hello,

Yes, you can attempt NEET in Jaipur with domicile and caste certificates from West Bengal. Here’s what you need to know:

  1. Exam Center Choice : NEET allows candidates to choose any exam center across India, regardless of domicile. You can select Jaipur as your exam city.

  2. Domicile for State Quota : Your West Bengal domicile and caste certificate are valid for West Bengal’s 85% state quota seats, not Rajasthan’s.

  3. All India Quota (AIQ) : You are eligible for the 15% AIQ seats in any state, including Rajasthan.

  4. Rajasthan State Quota : You cannot claim Rajasthan’s state quota without its domicile.

  5. Documents for Admission : Ensure you have valid ID proof and NEET scorecard for counseling.

Wishing you the best !

With a NEET score of 400 in 2025, you are likely eligible for BHMS programs in both government and private colleges, depending on the cutoff and seat availability. Government college cutoffs tend to be higher, but private colleges may have more flexible requirements. State-specific counseling can also provide additional opportunities. For the best chances, consider researching the cutoff trends of your preferred colleges.

Hello Arbaaz,

You should fill your name exactly as it appears on your Class 10 CBSE marksheet , which means without the dot (MD ARBAAZ SHAHEEN) while filling the NEET form.

Since CBSE does not use punctuation marks in marksheets, using the same format will prevent discrepancies during document verification. Your Aadhaar and other documents can have the dot, but for NEET and other official exams, follow the marksheet format .

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

For NEET seat reservations, State OBC certificates are valid only for state quota seats in your respective state’s medical colleges. However, if you want to claim OBC reservation under the All India Quota (AIQ) 15% seats, you must have an OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate recognized by the Central Government. If your caste is listed in the Central OBC list, you should update your certificate to a Central OBC-NCL certificate to avail of AIQ reservations in government medical colleges across India.

Hello,

If the address you entered while registering for NEET differs slightly from your Aadhaar details, follow these steps:

  1. Minor Differences: If it's a minor variation (like missing "Gram" or slight rearrangement), it usually won’t cause issues.
  2. Correction Window: NTA provides a correction window for NEET applications. Check if it's open and update the address.
  3. ID Proof at Exam: Ensure your Aadhaar or other valid ID proof matches your admit card details.
  4. Contact NTA: If unsure, call NTA helpline or email them for clarification.
  5. Future Updates: Consider updating Aadhaar or other documents for consistency.
