• Types for Acceleration

based on the nature of acceleration

                  There are three types of acceleration

1.  Positive Acceleration-

•  If final velocity is greater than the initial velocity.  For:  V₂ > V₁

• E.g- When a bus speeds up.

2.     Negative Acceleration-

• When final velocity is less than initial velocity. For:

• E.g-When a bus slow down.

3.     Zero Acceleration-

• When final velocity is equal to the initial velocity. For: 

• E.g-When a bus is moving with uniform velocity.
