UP AYUSH counselling: Eligibility criteria
Candidates who wish to get admission to BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS courses through the UP AYUSH counselling 2024 must fulfil the following eligibility criteria -
The candidates must have qualified for the NEET 2024 exam by securing a minimum of 50th percentile marks. Candidates belonging to the reserved category need to secure at least the 45th percentile.
The candidate must have registered themselves for the UP AYUSH counselling from the official website, upayushcounseling.upsdc.gov.in
For the 85% UP quota seats, the candidate must have completed the 10 + 2 standard or its equivalent from a recognised school by the UP University within the UP and UP NCR region.
The candidates are required to pass their 10 + 2 standard with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and must have scored a minimum of 50% marks (45% for the reserved category students)
For admission to the BUMS, candidates should have passed Urdu, Arabic or Persian language as one of the subjects in class 10 or class 12 (if not then candidates will be required to study the Urdu language as a subject during the first professional BUMS session)

Candidates appearing for UP AYUSH counselling 2024 need to register for the counselling process by filling out the registration form online. Below is the step-by-step guide for the online UP AYUSH counselling registration 2024.
Go to the official website of UP AYUSH Counselling 2024, upayushcounseling.upsdc.gov.in and click on the link provided for the online AYUSH counselling
Register using the NEET 2024 roll number and NEET application number.
The candidate's details of NEET 2024 is displayed. Click on “Confirm” and proceed further
On the “New Registration” page, enter a valid mobile number and email ID. These contact details are used further during the counselling process
Create a password of a maximum of 6 characters.
Login using the registered email ID and the password created. Fill in all the details asked in the UP AYUSH counselling 2024 registration form.
Click on the “save” button to save all the filled-in details in the UP AYUSH 2024 counselling

With an EAMCET rank of 4197 and belonging to the BC-B category, you have a good chance of getting a seat in NIMS Hyderabad, but it depends on the course you're aiming for. If you're looking for paramedical or allied health science courses (not MBBS), then yes, you may get a seat. For MBBS, NEET is mandatory, so without it, MBBS is not possible. With 475 marks in NEET 2025 and belonging to the SC category, your expected All India Rank (AIR) might be around 2,43,000 to 2,44,000 based on previous trends. You have a fair chance of getting an MBBS seat in a government medical college under the 15% All India Quota, as the SC cutoff has been close to this score in past years. Still, it depends on this year’s cutoffs, so attend both AIQ and state counselling.
