It must be noted that candidates are required to pay an amount of ₹5,250 at the time of taking admissions. From this amount ₹2,000 is non-refundable mess membership and the remaining ₹3,250 is a refundable mess deposit amount. Candidates seeking admission to AFMC MBBS 2020 will have to submit a Service Liability Bond when they take admission. It is mandatory that all the students serve in Armed Forces Medical Services as Medical Officers after they complete their course. The bond amount, ₹29,00,000, is to be paid by candidates if they fail to provide their services as Medical Officers. This failure to provide services can be a result of any medical or personal or legal reason, but in any case the bond amount needs to be submitted. Minor candidates both parents and major candidates one parent will have to sign the bond papers. Candidates who withdraw their admissions within seven days from the date of admission, will have the liability to pay the cost of training, as approved by the Government. In case any candidate fails to submit this agreement at the time of admission, their candidature will be cancelled.

Private Medical Colleges do not participate in All India Counselling and the seats are filled through State Counselling alone. And for appearing for State Counselling you need to hold the domicile of that particular State. Or else the only other option is through Management Quota. Under All India Quota, All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC are filled by DGHS. The 85% State Quota and Private Colleges are filled by the respective State Authorities. And there are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats.
