Every year millions of students appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- NEET which is a single gateway of admission to medical undergraduate courses. Getting low marks in NEET UG 2025 exam is a daunting thought for aspirants who wish to become doctors. However, despite having better preparation, many aspirants got low marks in NEET due to the tough level of competition. This year, a total of 11,276 seats have been added, according to the MBBS seat matrix published by the National Medical Commission (NMC), bringing the total count for admissions to 1,29,026. Karnataka boasts the highest number of MBBS seats in India, totalling 13,944, followed by Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh.
As aforementioned, without securing the NEET cutoff percentile, no admission will be granted to private or medical colleges in India. However, if any aspirants manage to qualify for the NEET 2025 with low marks, they will have to pay a huge amount to be granted admission to private medical colleges.
