Internships are based on a well-defined progression model that includes anticipation, disillusionment, confrontation, competence, and culmination—guiding students from theory to confident practice. Students complete their 6-month internship in the final year of B.Sc Nursing at East Point Medical College Hospital, a 1000-bed multi-specialty teaching hospital.

During the internship, students rotate through core departments such as Medical-Surgical Nursing, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Psychiatric Nursing, and Community Health. Faculty mentors provide continuous supervision and support to help students meet clinical learning objectives, develop key nursing competencies, and confidently transition into the professional healthcare environment.
