The candidates need to fulfill certain eligibility criteria set by the authority to be eligible for the Telangana Nursing Officer recruitment 2024. These eligibility criteria are as follows -
Applicant must have completed General nursing and midwifery (GNM) or BSc nursing as of September 18, 2024
The applicants should have registered with the Telangana Nursing Council

Exam pattern of Telangana nursing officer 2024
The Telangana nursing officer recruitment exam is conducted online. A total of 80 multiple choice questions are asked which the candidate needs to answer in 60 minutes. For every correct answer, 1 mark is allotted. For any incorrect or unattempted question, no marks are allotted. Candidates should know that the Telangana nursing officer recruitment exam is conducted in English language only.
MHSRB Telangana Staff Nurse Selection Process 2024
The appointment for the position of Staff Nurse (Nursing Officer) will be based on the candidates' performance in the Written Exam and Experience, with a weightage of 80 and 20 points respectively. A merit list is made and recruitment is conducted based on the combined points of the written exam and experience.
Written Exam - It has a weightage of 80 points, as there will be 80 multiple-choice questions in the first stage of the selection process.
Experience - It has a weightage of 20 points. Applicants who have served in state government hospitals/ institutions/ programmes are awarded points based on their experience. Points under this category are allotted in the following basis - Tribal Areas: 2.5 points for every 6 months of service in Tribal area of Telangana, and 2 points for every 6 months in a non-tribal area of Telangana.
