Telangana Nursing Officer 2024 exam date is November 23. A total of 2322 staff nurse posts will be filled in five departments through the Telangana nursing officer recruitment. While filling the application form, candidates are required to pay an examination fee and application fee for Telangana staff nurse recruitment. The fee details are provided below -
Examination fee - An examination fee of Rs.500 is to be paid by all the applicants irrespective of their category. This examination fee is non-refundable
Application fee - An application fee of Rs.200 needs to be paid while filling the online application form. Applicants from the reserved category are not required to pay any application fee.

The Telangana nursing officer recruitment exam is conducted online. A total of 80 multiple choice questions are asked which the candidate needs to answer in 60 minutes. For every correct answer, 1 mark is allotted. For any incorrect or unattempted question, no marks are allotted. Candidates should know that the Telangana nursing officer recruitment exam is conducted in English language only.
The appointment for the position of Staff Nurse (Nursing Officer) will be based on the candidates' performance in the Written Exam and Experience, with a weightage of 80 and 20 points respectively. A merit list is made and recruitment is conducted based on the combined points of the written exam and experience.
Written Exam - It has a weightage of 80 points, as there will be 80 multiple-choice questions in the first stage of the selection process.
Experience - It has a weightage of 20 points. Applicants who have served in state government hospitals/ institutions/ programmes are awarded points based on their experience. Points under this category are allotted in the following basis - Tribal Areas: 2.5 points for every 6 months of service in Tribal area of Telangana, and 2 points for every 6 months in a non-tribal area of Telangana.
