    The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) every year. As per the latest update, the authority has announced the NEET 2025 result on June 14, 2025. As the result is out now, candidates can use the NEET 2025 college predictor to get a list of probable medical colleges for admission based on their rank. The exam was conducted on May 4, 2025 from 2 PM to 5 PM.

    MCC NEET Counselling 2026 LIVE: NEET UG admission process dates soon; medical seats, top MBBS, BDS colleges

    Candidates can check the list of colleges under NEET AIQ counselling 2026 below:

    • Delhi University (LHMC, UCMS, MAMC): - 85% institutional quota seats for Delhi candidates (who have passed their 10+2 from Delhi). 15% of seats are open to students from all over India.
    • Aligarh Muslim University (AMU):- 50% Institutional reservation for candidates who have studied for the past 3 years in AMU schools. The remaining 50% of seats are open for All India candidates.
    • Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi: 47 seats are open to All India candidates. The rest 3 seats fall under the JMI internal quota and are open to students who have passed their 10+ 2 from Jamia Schools.
    • BHU: Open to All India candidates
    • IPU University (VMMC & SJH): 15% seats for All India and 85% of seats for students who have passed their 10+2 from Delhi.

    Aspirants wishing to appear in NEET can check the latest NEET UG 2025 news. The event-wise latest NEET 2025 updates are provided here.

    • June 14, 2025 (12:30 PM): NEET 2025 result announced by NTA at neet.nta.nic.in.
    • June 14, 2025: The NTA has released NEET 2025 final answer key at neet.nta.nic.in.
    • June 5, 2025: The NTA has closed the challenge window for NEET 2025 provisional answer key.
    • June 3, 2025: NTA released NEET provisional answer key 2025. The provisional answer key of NEET 2025 can be challenged till June 5, 2025.
    • May4, 2025: The NEET 2025 exam to be conducted today in offline mode at 566 NEET exam centres. Check the NEET dress code here.
    • April 30, 2025: NEET UG 2025 admit card has been released at neet.nta.nic.in.
    • April 23, 2025: NEET 2025 city intimation slip released at neet.nta.nic.in.
    • March 11, 2025: NEET 2025 correction window closed.
    • March 9, 2025: NEET UG 2025 correction window live at neet.nta.nic.in.
    • March 7, 2025: NEET 2025 application form window closed.
    • March 6, 2025: The NTA issued a notification stating that the NEET correction window will be opened from March 9 to 11, 2025.
    • March 1, 2025: The NTA has released the important advisory on NEET registration 2025.
    • February 7, 2025: NEET application form 2025 released. NEET exam date 2025 is May 4, 2025.
    • NTA has revised NEET exam pattern. There will be no Section B in NEET anymore. The NEET exam time will be 3 hours only.
    • NTA has clarified that NEET 2025 exam will be conducted in offline mode.
    • The NTA has released the syllabus of NEET UG 2025 on it's new NEET official website, neet.nta.ac.in.
    • The Radhakrishnan committee set up for the potential changes in NEET 2025 and the NTA both are in favour of the online conduct of NEET UG in CBT mode. If this happens, candidates can expect changes in NEET 2025 exam.
    • NMC has published the NEET 2025 syllabus at nmc.org.in. As per the official PDF, there is no change this year in the NEET syllabus.
    • NTA in its response said that they are waiting for the expert committee report which is currently evaluating the potential changes in NEET 2025 exam pattern.
    • The NTA is likely to announce the NEET exam date 2025 in January 2025 . The experts committee which was reviewing NEET 2025 exam pattern, has submitted its report to the education ministry. The official authority will announce the possible changes soon along with the NEET exam calendar 2025.

    Amid the discussions about shifting the NEET 2025 exam mode to online, RTI activist, Dr. Vivek Pandey wrote to NTA citing that if NEET UG 2025 is shifted to online mode in multiple shifts, then it could affect the students from economically weaker sections due to the limited access to technology and internet.

    NEET UG exam date 2025

    The NEET exam 2025 date was announced by NTA. The NEET 2025 exam was conducted on May 4, 2025 from 2 PM to 5.20 PM across India and abroad. Last year, over 24 lakh candidates registered for NEET. This year, the number is expected to increase making the entrance test even more challenging.

    NEET 2025 latest updates on exam pattern

    The NEET exam pattern 2025 has changed. As per the latest notice, the NEET question paper will carry of 180 MCQs. The NTA has removed optional question choices from NEET paper, then as per the latest NEET exam pattern, only 180 questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects.

    NEET attempt restrictions 2025

    Currently, there is no limit on the number of attempts for the NEET Exam, however as per media reports, the NTA can bring back the NEET attempt restrictions in 2025. Earlier, before 2018, there were restrictions over the maximum number of attempts for each candidate, but later the authorities removed these restrictions to bring some sense of relief to the students.

    NEET 2025 Biometric attendance updates

    As per various media reports, there might be an introduction of Biometric attendance in NEET 2025 to avoid cases of impersonation and cheating. Till now, the attendance of students is taken offline which is time-consuming and has a risk of cheating. To ensure fair practice, the NTA is likely to introduce a biometric attendance system in NEET UG 2025.
