The Himachal Pradesh NEET PG merit list includes important details such as the candidate's name, roll number, qualifying status, category, PwD status, 50% state quota rank, and 50% state quota category rank. Only candidates who qualify for the NEET PG exam are included in this rank list. The authority prepares HP NEET PG merit list 2025 based on the scores obtained by the candidates. Candidates who have scored the required percentile in the NEET PG exam must follow the below steps to download the HP NEET PG 2025 merit list.
A link will be provided above to download the HP NEET 2025 PG merit list.
Candidates need to click on the link and the Himachal Pradesh NEET PG 2025 merit list in PDF format will get displayed on the screen.
Applicants can check their qualifying status by finding their roll numbers using Ctrl+F
Candidates are advised to verify the details mentioned in the column of their roll number and take 3-4 printouts of the rank list.
Candidates must meet the minimum cutoff of the NEET PG exam as prescribed by the authorities. Check the HP NEET PG cutoff from the table mentioned below.

The HP NEET PG counselling is conducted in online mode. Candidates whose names appear on the merit list are invited to participate in the counselling process. The qualified candidates must register on the official Himachal Pradesh PG medical admissions website. The counselling is done in four rounds including a stray vacancy round round for admission to MD/MS and PG diploma courses. The aspirants are allotted seats for HP NEET PG 2025 admission based on their choices filled in the application form, NEET PG rank, category, and availability of seats. The selected candidates are required to report to the allotted college within the stipulated time period to complete the admission procedure.
The qualified candidates must submit their application form for HP PG 2025 along with all required supporting documentation. Below is the list of the documents.

Class 10 mark sheet as proof of DOB
Qualifying MBBS degree/mark sheet
Internship completion certificate
MCI/DCI registration certificate

To get an MD seat in a deemed university in Mumbai or Maharashtra through NEET PG, the required rank depends on the specialty and competition. Based on previous years' trends:
Top Specialties (General Medicine, Dermatology, Paediatrics, Radiology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology) usually require a rank below 40,000 for general category candidates.
Mid-Tier Specialties (Pathology, Psychiatry, Anesthesia, etc.) may have cutoffs between 40,000 - 70,000.
Less Competitive Specialties (Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, etc.) may be available beyond 70,000.
Cutoffs vary yearly based on seat availability and competition, so aiming for a rank under 30,000 increases your chances of getting a good MD seat in a reputed deemed un
