Questions related to NEET

Have a question related to NEET ?

Hello,

A score of 450 in the NEET might enable you to get admission to AGMC according to your category, state quota, and annual cutoffs. Generally, 450 marks could probably be competitive under state quotas; however, it might not necessarily guarantee a seat under the All India Quota.

Using the Careers360 NEET College Predictor is one way of ascertaining the chances. The application will consider NEET scores, category, home state, and previous years' trends to give an estimate of which colleges a student might qualify for. It is simply a case of filling in details on the Careers360 website, and it churns out a list of potential colleges - in this case, AGMC.

Regarding the fees, it is pretty low and being a government medical college, the tuition fee is about 30,000-50,000 for a year. Add to that all other expenses towards hostels, exams etc may hike it to around 60,000-70,000 per year. For more latest updates you may refer to the website of AGMC or call up their office for admission.

Yes, certainly, you can get admission in MBBS college after passing the NEET exam even after you have done your 12th class through the MP SOS or Ruk Jana Nahi Yojana scheme.

Mostly, eligibility criteria depend upon your NEET performance and your 12th class studies in major subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Provided you have passed 12th class from any recognized board even MP SOS and fulfill eligibility criteria of NEET, you may get yourself registered for MBBS admissions.

These are some key considerations to keep in mind:

A good NEET score is highly essential to get a seat in a good medical college.

State Quota Seats: If you are from the State of Madhya Pradesh, you can be eligible for state quota seats in government medical colleges.

All India Quota Seats: The seats will be filled based upon your NEET All India Rank.

You might even be requested to provide your 12th mark sheet and more documents during the admission procedure.

So, to ensure that the entire admission procedure is smooth and free from problems, keep your document ready for verification:

Prepare your documents in full. This may include 12th mark sheet, NEET admit card, and scorecard.

Consult a Career Counsellor: Seek a career counselor to take you through all the admission processes and valuable advice.

Update Yourself: Keep yourself updated with the latest information regarding admission process, cut-offs and counselling rounds.

By adhering to these guidelines and getting a good NEET score, one can get himself a seat in a good medical college.

Yes, most surely one can take up the Information Science course as an undergraduate course if they belong to a PCMB background; quite a few universities offer Information Science courses open to students from different backgrounds, even PCMB students.

For example, while it is good to have a sound knowledge of Mathematics and Science, it is not necessarily a prerequisite to get into any course. Usually, universities offer bridging courses or introductory modules that one may have to attend in case one does not have much of a background in computer science or information technology.

Preparation for Information Science Course Entrance Exam:

Familiarize yourself with the Syllabus: Look through the syllabus for the entrance exam you are targeting. From here, you will know where to concentrate.

Update Yourself with Basic Computer Science Concepts: For those who haven't had in-depth academic training, take some time and get familiar with programming basics, data structures, and basic algorithms.

Practice Logical Reasoning and Problem-Solving: This is the skill one needs in order to crack information science. Practice riddles, puzzles, and logical reasoning.

Update with Current Trends: Keep track of the latest trends and developments in this field.

Advice: Refer teachers or mentors for proper advice or visit online resources for support.

Practice Previous Year's Papers: This will help you understand how the exam pattern and time management goes.

It will, therefore, be possible to score well in entrance exams for Information Science courses if the above tips are followed religiously along with consistent efforts.

With a score of 280 NEET, the chances to get a seat in any government medical college are slim, especially in a college like AIIMS Delhi. Still, there are chances in other government medical colleges, and those are mostly in the state quota seats.

Following are some points to consider:

State Quota Seats:

Home State Quota: If the state from which you belong has fewer competing and higher quota seats then you have good chances.

All India Quota Seats: Here, the seat is filled strictly based on All India Rank, so the competition here is a bit higher.

Category:

Students belonging to the reserved category i.e. SC/ST/OBC students tend to have better chances of getting seats since the cut-off marks are generally lower for the reserved category students.

Process of Counselling

Partake actively in the counseling process and choose your colleges wisely.

Be ready to accept a seat in a lesser-ranked college during the first few rounds of counseling.

Private Medical Colleges:

Think of private medical colleges, which have cut-offs lower in admission. The fees at private colleges are, however quite high.

To make the most of getting admission

Be updated: Keep yourself informed about the latest information on the counseling process, seat allotment, and cut-offs.

Consult an experienced counselor: An experienced counselor will guide you in all admission procedures and make informed decisions about your life.

Prepare for counseling: Make sure all your documents are ready, and decisions should be taken at the drop of a hat.

Seek alternative options: If you get rejected from government medical colleges, there always exists dental colleges, AYUSH colleges, or foreign medical universities.

To secure admission into Manubhai Patel Dental College for ST/SC category, you would need a NEET score significantly lower than the general category which is between 325-390 marks for both the categories sc and st.

But the exact marks required will depend on the specific year's cutoff, which varies based on factors like seat availability and competition; generally, a NEET score around the lower range of the state-level cutoff for ST/SC category would be sufficient for admission to Manubhai Patel Dental College.

Good luck..
