The NTA has released the press release for NEET 2026 re exam on May 15, 2026. As per the latest NTA re NEET 2026 press release, several changes have been made to the exam. The major change is the addition of extra 15 minutes in the NEET 2026 re exam. The re NEET 2026 exam will be conducted from 2 PM to 5:15 PM now. NTA has also announced that students can also change their NEET UG 2026 exam city choice from May 15 to 21, 2026 for re NEET 2026 exam. The latest press release of NTA for NEET UG 2026 re exam is provided below.

The re NEET 2026 exam will be conducted in offline mode on June 21, 2026
The NEET 2026 re-exam admit card will be released on or before June 14, 2026
Students will be given a window of 7 days to select the exam city of their choice. Candidates can select the NEET 2026 exam centre city of their choice for the re exam.
An additional 15 minutes will be given for the re NEET 2026 exam to compensate for the loss of time students face in completing the exam formalities. The new exam timings of re NEET 2026 are from 2 PM to 5:15 PM.
NTA has also announced the NEET 2026 registration fee refund for all the registered students. Candidates belonging to the General category will receive a refund of Rs. 1700, while OBC and EWS candidates will get Rs. 1600 refunded. SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender candidates will receive Rs. 1000, whereas NRI candidates will get a refund of Rs. 9500.
There is no fee for the re NEET 2026 exam that will be conducted on June 21, 2026.
One of the biggest announcements of the NTA re NEET 2026 press release is regarding the NEET UG 2027 exam. The NEET 2027 exam mode has been changed to online CBT mode. The exam will be conducted in multiple shifts from 2027.
