According to the latest update, the authority has announced Punjab NEET counselling 2024 stray round seat allotment result. Candidates need to report at the allotted institutes till November 5, 2024 for fee submission. Choice filling window was available till November 1, 2024.

Punjab MBBS Admission 2024 Criteria
Admission to MBBS/BDS seats in Punjab will be granted under the following criteria.
15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats: Admission to 15% All India Quota seats reserved in government colleges in the state will be granted through centralised NEET counselling. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct NEET 2024 counselling for 15% AIQ seats.
Central/Deemed universities/AIIMS institutions: MCC will be responsible for granting admission to all the seats in central, deemed, and AIIMS institutions in the state through NEET-UG counselling.
85% state quota seats: Admission to 85% seats reserved under state quota in government colleges in the state will be granted by BFUHS through state counselling. Admission to all seats in private colleges will also be granted through state NEET 2024 counselling.

Punjab NEET 2024 Admission- Eligibility Criteria
Only candidates fulfilling the below-discussed eligibility criteria will be considered for Punjab MBBS admission.
Age: Applicant must be at least 17 years old as on December 31, 2024, to apply for Punjab NEET admission.
Academic qualification: Candidates must have passed/appeared for class 12 qualifying examinations. General category students must score a minimum of 50% marks while OBC/SC/ST candidates must score at least 45% marks in class 12 exams.
Subjects studied: Students must compulsorily study Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology in class 12.
Domicile: To apply for Punjab MBBS 2024 admission, the applicant must be a domicile of the state. The following candidates are eligible.

Wards of deceased government employees were posted in Punjab at least for 2 years out of three before the year of passing class 12. Such candidates must have passed class 12 from outside the state.

Punjab MBBS Admission 2024- Application Form
Only NEET 2024 qualified candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can fill Punjab MBBS/BDS application form. Check the steps to fill out the application form for Punjab MBBS 2024 below.
Fill Punjab NEET 2024 application form: Students have to register themselves for Punjab MBBS admission 2024 at the official website. In the Punjab MBBS application form, students have to enter their personal, academic, contact, and NEET exam-related details. At the end of registration, an application number and password will be generated for candidates.
Punjab MBBS/BDS application fee: After entering all details asked in the application form of Punjab MBBS 2024, applicants have to pay the required application fee. The application fee for Punjab NEET 2024 admission can be paid either using net banking or via an e-challan.
Upload documents: Students will be required to upload a photograph, signature, and left hand thumb impression in the Punjab MBBS application form 2024. Additionally, the class 12 mark sheet, date of birth proof, and NEET result should be uploaded in the application form.

The authority publishes the provisional Punjab NEET merit list mentioning the names of shortlisted candidates. The Punjab MBBS merit list is prepared on the basis of the NEET 2024 scores of the candidate. The merit list of Punjab MBBS 2024 mentions the candidate's personal details, registration number, category, roll number, marks and rank secured in the NEET exam. Candidates included in the merit list of Punjab MBBS/BDS 2024 are eligible to participate in the counselling process.
Punjab MBBS Admission 2024- Counselling
The authority conducts the counselling of Punjab NEET 2024 for shortlisted candidates. Two rounds of Punjab NEET 2024 counselling is conducted. A mop-up round of Punjab NEET counselling is held in case of vacant seats. During counselling, students are asked to fill in their choices of courses and colleges for Punjab MBBS/BDS admission 2024. Based on the choices filled by candidates, number of seats, reservation, and NEET 2024 score, the authority allot MBBS/BDS seats. Candidates who will be allotted seats during Punjab MBBS seat allotment have to report to the respective institution for further admission process.
