Aspirants qualified for NEET UG and fulfilling the eligibility criteria can register for the admission process. To apply for admission, eligible candidates have to fill out the Punjab NEET application form and undergo document verification. Admission to MBBS/BDS seats in Punjab will be granted under the following criteria.
15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats: Admission to 15% All India Quota seats reserved in government colleges in the state will be granted through centralised NEET counselling. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct NEET 2024 counselling for 15% AIQ seats.
Central/Deemed universities/AIIMS institutions: MCC will be responsible for granting admission to all the seats in central, deemed, and AIIMS institutions in the state through NEET-UG counselling.
85% state quota seats: Admission to 85% seats reserved under state quota in government colleges in the state will be granted by BFUHS through state counselling. Admission to all seats in private colleges will also be granted through state NEET 2024 counselling.

Only candidates fulfilling the below-discussed eligibility criteria will be considered for Punjab MBBS admission.
Age: Applicant must be at least 17 years old as on December 31, 2024, to apply for Punjab NEET admission.
Academic qualification: Candidates must have passed/appeared for class 12 qualifying examinations. General category students must score a minimum of 50% marks while OBC/SC/ST candidates must score at least 45% marks in class 12 exams.
Subjects studied: Students must compulsorily study Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology in class 12.
Domicile: To apply for Punjab MBBS 2024 admission, the applicant must be a domicile of the state. The following candidates are eligible.

Fill Punjab NEET 2024 application form: Students have to register themselves for Punjab MBBS admission 2024 at the official website. In the Punjab MBBS application form, students have to enter their personal, academic, contact, and NEET exam-related details. The authority publishes the provisional Punjab NEET merit list mentioning the names of shortlisted candidates. The Punjab MBBS merit list is prepared on the basis of the NEET 2024 scores of the candidate.
