Punjab MBBS Application Form 2018 – Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) had released the Punjab MBBS 2018 application form on June 8, 2018. The application form of Punjab MBBS 2018 was released in the online mode only. The process of filling up of the Punjab MBBS 2018 application form ended on June 23, 2018. It was mandatory on the part of interested candidates to fill the Punjab MBBS application form 2018 in order to be eligible for the state and the NRI quota seats. By filling the application form of Punjab MBBS 2018, candidates could apply to a total of about 900 medical and 970 dental seats in the government and private colleges. The merit list of Punjab MBBS 2018 has been released on June 29, 2018.

Candidates who had successfully filled in the Punjab MBBS application form 2018 and who have obtained the qualifying percentile in the NEET UG examination have been included in the state merit list. Such candidates are eligible to participate in the counselling process started on June 30, 2018. The admission of candidates to Punjab MBBS 2018 will be based both on the NEET UG 2018 score and the candidates’ institute preference.

Punjab MBBS BDS 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates filling up the application form of Punjab MBBS BDS 2018 must be Indian citizens.
The candidates must at least be 17 years of age as on December 31, 2018, in order to fill up the Punjab MBBS BDS 2018 application form.
Candidates, in order to fill up the Punjab MBBS BDS application form, must be bonafide residents of the state, except for:
Candidates who are wards of late employees of Punjab Goverment/Central Government/All India Services.
Candidates who are wards of late employees of military/ex-military/para-military forces, born in the territory of Punjab.
Candidates of wards of defense personnel posted in Punjab.
Candidates applying under the minority and NRI quota are also eligible for Punjab MBBS BDS admission 2018.
Candidates applying to Punjab MBBS BDS 2018 admission must have passed their Class 12 examination in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have scored a minimum aggregate of 50% (for unreserved category), 40% ( for reserved category, including physically handicapped of reserved category) and 45% (for physically handicapped and persons with disabilities) in the subjects mentioned.
Candidates must secure the required minimum percentile in the NEET 2018 so as to fill the Punjab MBBS BDS application form 2018.

How to fill Punjab MBBS Application Form 2018?
Step 1 – Registration
Candidates need to visit the official website of BFUHS to start the process of filling up the online application form of Punjab MBBS BDS 2018. The candidates have to register themselves by providing the requisite details like name, date of birth, email id and a valid mobile number.
Step 2 – Submission of Academic Details
The candidates need to provide details such as class 12 marks, NEET roll number, NEET score etc. Candidates should ensure that the details they provide in the application form are correct as these are verified at the time of preparation of the Punjab MBBS BDS state merit list by the authorities. The candidates are issued a unique registration ID and password after filling up the details in the application form.
Step 3 – Uploading of Documents
Candidates are required to upload a scanned copy of their recent passport sized photograph and signature. The size of the signature and photograph to be uploaded in Punjab MBBS BDS application form should not be more than 25 kb. The photograph must bear the name of the candidate along with the date at the bottom. Candidates' Class 10 certificate as proof of age, NEET scorecard, and category certificate (if applicable), also have to be uploaded.
All candidates are also required to upload the duly attested compulsory affidavit (given below) while filling up the application form of Punjab MBBS 2018.
Step 4– Printout of the Application Form
Candidates filling up the application form must take a printout after it is locked. The form is automatically locked on the last day of filling up the form. The printout should be kept by the candidates for future reference.
Step 5– Payment of Application Fee
Candidates need to deposit the fee for application form of Punjab MBBS BDS 2018 in BFUHS Account in any Branch of Oriental Bank of Commerce or SBI Bank through challan form which is generated on the successful filling of online admission application form at the university website.
