UPGET 2026: Application Form, Dates, Eligibility, Pattern, Admit Card, College List

Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria as set by the authority to apply for the UPGET exam. Check the UPGET eligibility criteria guidelines below

• A candidate must be an Indian citizen

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum pass percentage of 40% (35% for reserved candidates) in science stream. 

• Class 12th with 40% marks in ANM vocational course from INC recognised institute. 

• Class 12th with 40% marks in the vocational stream - healthcare science from a recognised board. 

• Aspirants must be registered ANM with pass marks 

• Candidates must have cleared English individually

• Students from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) and other open schools recognised by central and state boards can also apply. 

• For admission to government GNM colleges, candidates must be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh. 

• The minimum age requirement in UPGET is 17 years on or before December 31 of the same year they are seeking admission.

The UP GNM application form can be filled in online mode at abvmuup.edu.in. To complete the UPGET application form, candidates need to follow the steps mentioned below. 

Step1: Registration 

• Visit the official website of ABVMU University, abvmuup.edu.in

• Click on the UPGET 2026 registration link

• Enter name, father’s name, mother's name, date of birth, category, gender, email ID and mobile number. 

• Verify OTP received on the registered email ID and mobile number.  

• Login credentials will be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number. 

• Login using the credentials and change your password for security reasons. 

Step 2: Filling out the application form

• Login with the newly created credentials. 

• Click on the ‘Fill Form’ option 

• Enter personal information, address details and educational qualifications. 

Step 3: UPGET exam city selection 

• Candidates need to provide preferences for UPGET exam centre cities. 

• A total of 3 exam centre choices can be made in order of preference. 

Step 4: Uploading images 

• In the next step, candidates are required to upload the images of their photograph, signature and verification sheet in the application form in the prescribed format. The photo specifications can be checked from the table below.

Step 5: Taking a live photo

• Click on the ‘Upload Live Photo’

• Take a live photo using a webcam on a laptop, computer or camera on a mobile phone in plain background.

• Do not wear a cap, glasses, mask while taking a photo

• Upload a live photograph and click on the ‘save’ button

Step 6: Paying the application form fee

• Once all details are entered, candidates need to pay the UPGET application form fee. 

• Application fee can be paid in online mode through credit card/ debit card/ internet banking or UPI. The application fee can be checked from the table below.

Step 7: Taking a printout of the application form

• Once the application form is filled out, candidates must review the filled details carefully in the application form and click on the submit button. After the final submission, a confirmation email is sent to the registered email address.

• Candidates must download the application form and take a printout for future reference.

The admit card of UPGET is released by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University on the official website,.abvmuup.edu.in. The UPGET admit card is issued to registered candidates only. To download the UPGET admit card, candidates have to enter their registered number & password. It must be noted that the authority does not send the admit card by post. .

The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow, announces the UPGET result at the official website: abvmuup.edu.in. The authority prepares a merit list based on the scores obtained in the UP GNM entrance exam. Candidates who are qualified for the UPGET exam will be called for the counselling process.

How to download the UPGET result?

• Visit the official website, abvmuup.edu.in

• Click on the UPGET result link.

• Enter the registration ID and date of birth.

• The UPGET result will be displayed on the screen.

• Save and download the result for future reference.

UPGET qualifying marks 2026

Aspirants securing marks equal to or above the UPGET qualifying marks as set by the authority are declared qualified in the entrance exam. Candidates can check the UP GNM qualifying marks from the table below.

The UP GNM counselling is conducted after the declaration of exam results. During the counselling process, candidates are required to fill in their choices of courses and colleges. Once the allotment is done, candidates need to report to their respective colleges to pay their prescribed fee to confirm their admission. In case a candidate fails to do so, he or she will lose their claim for admission.
