J & K MBBS Merit List 2018 – Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has released a list of 23 candidates who registered themselves for the second round of counselling on July 24, 2018. These candidates including the ones who earlier registered for the round of counselling were eligible to participate in the second round of J & K MBBS counselling. Jammu and Kashmir MBBS merit list 2018 was issued on June 23, 2018. The list is divided among different annexures namely A, B, C. Interested candidates can check here the state merit list of Jammu and Kashmir state. Earlier, the authorities released a list of eligible candidates who have qualified NEET 2018 and belong to the state of Jammu and Kashmir on June 12, 2018. Candidates not included in this list shall contact the Board with all the required documents.

The mode of release of the merit list of J & K MBBS 2018 is only online. Candidates whose names are included in the Annexure A of J & K MBS 2018 merit list are eligible to attend the counselling for J & K MBBS 2018. The candidates who have scored the required minimum percentile in the NEET UG attended the document verification session and have filled up the J & K MBBS application form 2018 are included in the merit list of J & K MBBS 2018. The state merit will display the names of the candidates according to the NEET UG score in the decreasing order.
Candidates should note that inclusion in the J & K MBBS merit list 2018 does not necessarily guarantee a seat but makes the candidates eligible to attend the various counselling sessions. The merit list of J & K MBBS 2018 will include candidates’ names, roll numbers, NEET scores, state rank and category.
About Jammu & Kashmir MBBS BDS Merit List 2018
The conducting body has invited applications from the candidates who did not register earlier to participate in the second round of counselling. The list of candidates who have successfully registered for round two is made available here. The provisional merit list of J &K MBBS BDS, released on June 23, is divided between Annexure A, B and C. The candidates included in the Annexure A are those who have registered with BOPEE. This implies that the candidates who have or haven't uploaded the documents along with the ones who have not uploaded all the mandatory are included in this section of the merit list. The inclusion in Annexure B signifies that the candidates have not uploaded all the required documents and will become eligible for the counselling only if they will submit the documents in person to the BOPEE office. Annexure C candidates are not eligible for the counselling process since they were unable to produce the mandatory documents even after repeated intimation. J & K MBBS Merit List 2018 Eligibility
Candidates were required to fulfil the basic eligibility criteria for inclusion in the J & K MBBS 2018 merit list. The criteria for eligibility states that the candidates would have to be a domicile of Jammu and Kashmir and must attend the document verification conducted offline for admission to J & K MBBS 2018. Candidates should also obtain the minimum qualifying percentile in the NEET 2018 examination to be included in J & K MBBS merit list 2018.

The merit list for J & K MBBS BDS 2018 has been released on June 23, 2018
The J & K MBBS 2018 merit list has been released collectively for all the candidates by BOPEE.
The J & K MBBS merit list 2018 is prepared on the basis of All India overall rank of candidates found eligible in the NEET 2018 UG exam.
Candidates whose names have been included in the merit list of J & K MBBS admission 2018 can take a print out of the same for future reference.
J & K MBBS BDS Merit List 2018 - Tie Breaking Criteria
The tie breaking criteria will be used in the J & K MBBS 2018 merit list, in case two or more candidates have obtained the same total marks in the NEET UG examination. The following parameters are used by the concerned authorities for tie-breaking in the merit list of J & K MBBS 2018 -
To break the tie, candidates obtaining higher marks in Biology (Botany & Zoology) in the test are allotted a higher rank in the J & K MBBS merit list 2018.
If there is a tie still, candidates obtaining higher marks in Chemistry in the test are allotted a higher rank.
If the tie still persists, candidates with less number of attempted wrong answers in all the subjects in the test are allotted a higher rank.
Finally, the candidates older in age are allotted a higher rank in case the tie still remains.
The names of candidates that have been listed in the Jammu and Kashmir 2018 merit list are eligible to fill in the online preference/application form for various counselling sessions. BOPEE has started the counselling process on June 24, 2018.
