The NTA released the official NEET 2025 notification on February 7, 2025. This includes all key details such as the NEET eligibility criteria 2025, application process, exam pattern, syllabus, and more.
Form filling of the NEET application form 2025 started on February 7, 2025. The application form of NEET could be filled out online through the official website. The NEET official website is neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can fill out the form, upload documents, and pay the application fee within this period.
After submitting the application, candidates are given a correction window for NEET 2025 to make corrections to any details they may have entered incorrectly. This usually takes place a few weeks after the application deadline.
NTA before releasing the admit cards, released the NEET city intimation slip 2025 on April 23, 2025. The city intimation slip mentions the details of the NEET 2025 exam city allotted to the students.
The NEET 2025 admit cards were released on April 30, 2025. Candidates could download their NEET hall tickets 2025 from the NTA website, which contains important information such as the exam centre, roll number, and exam timing.
The exam date of NEET 2025 was May 4, 2025. The exam was conducted in a single shift and is a 3-hour paper consisting of 180 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology), out of which candidates need to answer only 180 questions. The total number of questions in NEET 2025 were 180. As per the revised NEET 2025 exam pattern, the optional question choice from section B was removed.

Although NEET and paramedical courses (nursing, lab tech etc.) share same core subjects of PCB but the syllabus for NEET is NOT identical with that of paramedical exams as they require extra sections of GK and aptitude that is beyond NEET.

Your plan to shift from online BCA to regular MCA is completely valid and acceptable. The gap years taken for NEET preparation will not affect MCA admission.
You should first try government colleges through exams like NIMCET or CUET-PG for better fees and placements. Top options include NITs, University of Hyderabad, JNU, and Delhi University.
If not, good private choices are VIT, Manipal, SRM, Amrita, and Christ University. Choose a college based on placements, fees, and industry exposure, not just the name.
