In an exclusive interview with Careers360, Krish has shared his NEET preparation journey along with useful insights for the future aspirants. Careers360: Hi Krish, was this your first attempt for the NEET exam?

Krish: Yes, this was my first attempt for the NEET exam.

Careers360: What motivated you to get into the field of medicine? When did you decide to choose this profession of being a doctor?

Krish: Since childhood, my parents inspired me to pursue a career in medicine by introducing me to the medical profession. My sister further motivated me by showing me YouTube videos and motivational speeches by renowned educators from across India. As I grew older, I developed a strong interest in science and logical reasoning. After I scored well in my Class 10 board examinations, my teachers encouraged me to choose the medical stream. Also, I have always considered medicine a noble profession, and that has been my biggest motivation to pursue this career.

Careers360: Which was your favorite subject from Physics, Chemistry and Biology?

Krish: Physics because it's more logical, more conceptual.

Careers360: Many NEET aspirants find Physics as one of the most difficult or challenging subjects. Would you like to share some tips for NEET Physics preparation?

Krish: For Physics, my biggest advice is to focus on understanding concepts rather than memorising formulas. Students must build a strong conceptual foundation, think logically, and solve as many questions as possible. Once you understand a topic deeply and practice consistently, Physics becomes much easier.

Careers360: How many marks did you score in Re NEET 2026?

Krish: I scored 700 out of 720 marks in the Re NEET 2026 exam.

Careers360: What about the expected score in the May 3 exam that got cancelled?

Krish: I was scoring 710 marks in that exam.

Careers360: What was your first reaction when NEET 2026 got cancelled and Re NEET was announced?

Krish: Initially, I was surprised and a little disappointed because I didn't expect the re-exam. But after talking to my teachers and friends, I accepted the situation and regained my confidence.

Careers360: What was your daily routine while preparing for the medical entrance exam?

Krish: After coaching, I would take a short break, spend some time with my family or listen to music, and then start studying. I ended each day by solving practice questions and planning my targets for the next day. I made sure to get 7–8 hours of sleep and started every morning by following the study plan I had prepared the previous night.

Careers360: What colleges are you targeting?

Krish: I want to get into any government college in Delhi.

Careers360: Can you name any three government colleges that are in your list?

Krish: AIMS Delhi, Madras Medical College, Vardhman Mahavir Medical College.

Careers360: What factors do future NEET aspirants should consider while selecting a coaching institute?

Krish: The most important factor while choosing a coaching institute is the quality and frequency of its test series, as regular mock tests help build confidence and avoid panic during the NEET exam. Good faculty, one-to-one interaction, and concept-based study material are equally important. At the same time, students must also take responsibility for their own preparation and stay consistent.

Careers360: What do you think if CBT mode is introduced in the NEET examination? How beneficial can it be?

Krish: I think the shift to CBT is a positive change. In the OMR, I made 3 marks mistakes, which would not happen in CBT. Although some students may initially find it time-consuming, they will adapt with practice. Overall, the online format reduces interruptions during the exam and makes the process smoother.

Careers360: What was the sequence of attempting the NEET question paper and what was the pattern of filling the OMR?

Krish: I started the exam with Physics because it was my strongest subject, followed by Chemistry and then Biology. After completing all three sections, I used the remaining time to revise doubtful questions, recheck calculations, and carefully mark my answers. My advice is to stay calm while marking responses, as I made mistakes while filling the Re NEET 2026 OMR sheet.

Careers360: Did you face any issues during the NEET 2026 registration process or at the exam centre, such as biometric verification, frisking, or the dress code?

Krish: I didn't face any major issues during the registration process, except for uploading the live photograph. At the exam centre, biometric verification took some time due to network issues, but overall, the process was smooth.

Careers360: Suppose you come across a student who has already taken a 2-year drop and scored around 400 marks in NEET 2026. What would be your advice to that student?

Krish: It depends on the student’s situation. If they believe they can put in more effort, improve their preparation strategy, and have the motivation to continue for another year, they can consider taking another attempt. However, after two years of preparation, maintaining the same level of dedication and consistency is important. Students should also evaluate other career options available for PCB students before making a decision.

Careers360: What advice would you give to future NEET aspirants?

Krish: My advice would be, understand the NEET exam pattern, make a realistic study plan, and complete each chapter with confidence. Focus on conceptual learning, solve plenty of questions using NEET mock tests, and revise NCERT multiple times, especially for Biology. Consistent practice and self-belief are the keys to success.
