During Telangana NEET PG 2025 counselling, candidates need to complete their registration, and fill out their choices of college and courses. The NEET PG 2025 scores will be considered as a base for the shortlisting of the candidates in the Telangana NEET PG merit list. Registered candidates with their names on the final merit list will be called for counselling. The Telangana state NEET PG counselling will fill out a total of 1676 MD, 849 MS, and 23 PG Diploma seats. The aspirants who have cleared the NEET PG cut-off and fulfil the eligibility criteria cited by the KNRUHS are eligible to apply for counselling. After the document verification, the candidates will be listed in the final merit list published by the authority. The shortlisted candidates from the final merit list will be called for counselling. The Telangana NEET PG counselling is conducted online. If candidates don’t appear for round 1 even after the allotment of seats, then those candidates are not allowed to take part in other rounds of counselling. The Telangana NEET PG counselling 2025 process is described below:
For Telangana NEET PG counselling, candidates must register at knruhs.telangana.gov.in.
Candidates are required to fill out the basic details such as name, NEET PG exam scores, domicile etc in the fields provided.
After registration, candidates must select their preferred colleges and courses. They can make as many selections as they want as there are no limitations.
Candidates will be allotted seats based on the NEET score, reservation, availability of seats and the preferences filled by the candidates.
After the allotment of seats, candidates must report at the allotted college at the specified time along with the document as mentioned by the authority.
Take the printout of the Telengana NEET PG admission letter before reporting to the counselling venue.
Aspirants who are not selected in round 1, can take part in the subsequent rounds of counselling.
In round 1 of counselling, if some candidates are not content with the allotted course or college are included in the waiting list. Those candidates have to write an application to the authority stating their concerns. The waitlisted candidates will be considered if seats are left vacant even after all the rounds of counselling.
Aspirants not qualified for round 1 are called for round 2 of counselling. However, candidates have to fulfil certain parameters set by the authority to be included in round 2, which are listed below:
Not satisfied with the seat allotment in round 1, candidates must change their choices.
Candidates must have chosen the waiting list option.
Aspirants who have not been selected in round 1 and round 2 will be called for the mop-up round. The mop-up round in Telangana NEET PG counselling is held especially for the candidates who have Telangana domicile certificates and have missed out on seats on previous rounds of counselling.
The documents required for the Telangana NEET PG counselling are as follows:
Any valid and original photo ID proof
Birth certificate or secondary school certificate
Pass certificate of Class 12
Class 6 to Class 12 pass certificates for candidates who studied at Siddartha Medical College and Christian Medical College
One-year compulsory rotatory internship completion certificate
MBBS/BDS registration certificate from National or State Medical/Dental Council
Marksheets of all years of MBBS/BDS degree
MBBS study certificate
Caste certificate, if applicable
Minority certificate, if applicable
PwD certificate, if applicable

With a rank of 1760 in the NTRUHS PG management quota (B-category) and belonging to the AU region, getting a clinical seat is possible but mostly in the mid or lower-demand branches. High-demand clinical courses like Radiology, Dermatology and General Medicine generally close at much lower ranks, but seats in branches such as ENT, Opthalmology, Psychiatry, Anesthesia or General Surgery may still be available depending on this year's vacancy movement during later rounds.
