    National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate exam, commonly known as NEET PG is conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in CBT mode. As per the latest update, the NBE has released the NEET PG answer key for registered candidates on August 29. Along with it, the NEET PG scorecard 2025 has also been released at natbaord.edu.in. The NEET PG 2025 result was announced on August 19, 2025. The NEET PG 2025 was conducted on August 3.

    Previously, the court issued several directions regarding seat blocking during NEET PG counselling, publishing of raw scores, answer keys and normalisation formulae among others.     May 30, 2025: NEET PG 2025 to be conducted in single shift mode, says Supreme Court.

    May 22, 2025: The Apex court has asked officials to prevent seat blocking system during the NEET PG counselling. In addition to this , the court ordered authorities to publish raw scores, answer keys in multi-shift exam mode.

    May 21, 2025: The Supreme Court has postponed NEET PG case to May 22 due to Waqf board issue. The NEET PG hearing was listed for today.

    May 7, 2025: NEET PG 2025 application form window closed.

    April 17, 2025: NEET PG 2025 application has been released. The NEET PG 2025 application form last date is May 7, 2025.

    April 16, 2025: NEET PG 2025 notification out. NEET PG 2024 registration can be done from April 17, 2025.

    December 10, 2024: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has released the notice on its official website regarding the tentative exam date of NEET PG 2025. The tentative NEET PG exam date 2025 is June 15, 2025. The cut off date for internship completion has set as July 31, 2025.

    December 5, 2024: A notice regarding the tentative date of NEET PG 2025 is circulating in social media, as per which the NEET PG 2025 exam date is June 15, 2025.

    November 27, 2024: The NBE released the exam calendar for the academic session 2025 without announcing the NEET PG exam date 2025.

    NEET PG Supreme Court Hearing

    The Supreme Court has issued several directions to the NEET PG officials in order to prevent certain flaws in the system. The court has ordered officials to implement a Nationally synchronized counselling calendar to align AIQ and state rounds and prevent seat blocking during the counselling process. The court also asked authorities to publish raw scores, answer keys and normalisation formulae in the multi-shift exam mode. It also stated that Aadhaar based tracking must be done to curb seat blocking and impose strict penalties on such candidates including disqualification from appearing in next NEET PG exams and confiscation of security deposits.

    Earlier, the NEET PG 2025 matter was several times. The case was listed for May 21, 2025 but the apex court deferred the NEET PG 2025 hearing due to Waqf Board case. Last year, petitions were filed by a group of aspirants and United Doctors' Front (UDF) seeking transparency, release of NEET PG answer keys, question paper, response sheets, individual scorecards, single-shift exam mode among others.

    The NEET PG exam date was announced. NEET PG 2025 exam was conducted on August 3, 2025. NBEMS releases the complete schedule of NEET PG 2025 at natboard.edu.in. The exam schedule includes exam dates for FDST, NEET MDS, NEET SS, DNB PDCET and other exams.

    NEET PG 2025 latest news

    The NEET PG exam date 2025 was August 3, 2025. Earlier, the NEET PG was postponed by NBE following the Supreme court's order to conduct the exam in single shift. In 2024, the NEET PG was held on August 11 after being postponed many times. The entrance test was marred by controversies like lack of transparency, irregularities in NEET PG result, display of answer key and others.

    NEET PG exam pattern changes

    The NEET PG 2025 exam will be conducted in single shift. Last year, NEET PG held in two shifts and the move was criticised by the aspirants who accused the changing process led to discrepancies in NEET PG results. Many activists and students filed petitions in the Supreme Court over lack of transparency, changes in NEET PG exam pattern, marking process, display of answer key and more.

    I am doing post graduation in pathology (MD pathology ) after finishing this degree will I be able to write neet pg again and do a different second pg in a different subject , Am I eligible to appear for neet pg after completing MD pathology?

    Hi,

    Yes, you are eligible. After completing Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Pathology, you can appear again for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate if you have a valid MBBS degree and registration with the National Medical Commission. However, government rules about funding or seat eligibility may vary.
