Maharashtra PG Medical Merit List 2019 - The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra, has published the revised merit list of Maharashtra PG medical/dental 2019 for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma and MDS courses. Through an official notification, the DMER, Maharahstra cancelled the Maharashtra PG medical admission 2019 through round one and two. Maharashtra PG medical merit list 2019 for admission to PG and MDS courses can be downloaded from this page. Earlier, the combined state merit list of Maharashtra PG dental 2019 on April 21. Along with that, the provisional list of newly registered aspirants after document verification has been released. The first round Maharahstra PG and MDS counselling report has also been released by the authority. DMER has announced the schedule of second and mop-up round of Maharashtra PG medical 2019 counselling. Earlier, the DMER, Maharashtra had released the final Maharashtra PG/MDS 2019 merit list on April 4. The final merit list mentions the NEET PG rank, scores obtained, roll number and name of candidates. Along with it, the first seat allotment result of Maharashtra PG medical counselling has been announced. Based on the Maharashtra PG medical merit list 2019, the admission to PG and MDS courses are granted. Earlier, the authority has released the applicant list of Maharashtra PG medical 2019, displaying the names of aspirants who had registered themselves for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma and MDS seats. Candidates who will qualify in NEET PG, fulfills the eligibility criteria and submits the application form will be included in the merit list of Maharashtra PG medical 2019. Based on the marks secured in NEET PG, the authority will prepare and publish the Maharashtra PG medical 2019 merit list. The rank list of Maharashtra PG medical 2019 will display the name of candidates, All India rank, state rank, category, NEET PG scores etc. The rank included in the merit list will be called for counselling process. During the counselling of Maharashtra PG medical 2019, aspirants have to fill the preferences of colleges and courses. Maharashtra PG medical 2019 merit list will be basis for admission to 50% state quota seats. While remaining 50% seats from government medical colleges will be reserved for All India Quota seats, which will be filled by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) based on NEET PG 2019 rank. National Board of Examinations (NBE) will be conducting NEET PG on January 6 in online mode for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses.

Maharashtra PG Medical Merit List 2019 - Tie-Breaking Method

In case, the marks of two or more aspirants will be equal, then authority will follow tie-breaking method to resolve the same as mentioned below.

  • Candidates who secured higher aggregate marks at First, Second and Third MBBS examination (Part I and II) will be given better rank in Maharashtra PG medical merit list 2019

  • If the tie is still there, aspirants with higher aggregate marks at Third MBBS examination (Part I and III) will be preferred over the one with lesser marks for Maharashtra PG 2019 rank list

  • If the tie still persists, candidates whose aggregate marks at Second MBBS examination (Part I and II) will be considered first in Maharashtra PG merit list

  • At the last, the age of candidates will be given first preferences over the younger one

Highlights of Maharashtra PG Medical Merit List 2019

  • Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra, will release the merit list of Maharashtra PG medical 2019 in the last week of March.

  • The rank list will be prepared on the basis of NEET PG scores 2019

Maharashtra PG Medical Counselling 2019

DMER, Maharashtra will conduct the counselling of Maharashtra PG medical 2019 in online mode. There will be two rounds for counselling. The first round of Maharashtra PG medical counselling 2019 will begin from first week of April. For counselling, aspirants have to fill the choices of colleges and courses for admission to MD, MS and PG Diploma courses. Based on the choices filled, All India rank and seats available, the admission to Maharashtra PG medical 2019 will be granted.

The NEET PG 2020 eligibility criteria for aspirants appearing in the postgraduate medical examination has been listed below.

Candidates must possess a valid MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI), and have an MBBS degree or provisional certificate to that effect.
Completion of the rotatory internship on or before March 31, 2020.
Provisional or permanent medical registration certificate issued by MCI or a State Medical Council. This must be carried on the day of the exam and during admission.
Candidates who have studied/qualified MBBS from Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for All India 50% Quota seats. Only candidates who were nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats) to study MBBS from Medical Colleges in Jammu & Kashmir shall be eligible for All India 50% quota seats. Such candidates must submit a duly signed affidavit declaring this.

Dear Sreenivasan, NBE hasn't released NEET PG official notification and schedule yet. As of now, all we have is a tentative schedule. The official notification will be released tentatively during the 1st or 2nd weeks of November. To be eligible for NEET PG, you should be able to complete your 1 year Mandatory Internship ateast by March 31st,  2020. how many phsically handicapped seats qouta in M.D.S in government Colleges .........in neet pg M.D.S

hello aspirant,

there are total 1352 seats are available in government colleges in india for M.D.S. however as per the rules of government of india 3% seats are reserve for physically handicapped candidate, (only for physically handicapped with the locomotory disorders and that too with disability of lower limbs between 50% to 70% as per MCI regulation) . so total 40 seats are for physically handicapped.

You will be happy to know that there's no minimum percentage which needs to be obtained by medical graduates to be eligible for neet pg . To be eligible  for neet pg  medical graduates are required to possess Indian Medical Council Act 1956 recognised MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate. Candidates are required to mandatorily have permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification which is to be issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC) and candidate must complete their one year internship on or before March 31, 2020 to be eligible for Neet pg 2020. when I open any college profile, there is written - (Exams accepted Neet UG,Neet PG. etc) what does that mean?

Dear Utsav, that actually means the College in particular has MBBS, MD,MS courses and the admissions to these courses are through NEET UG, NEET PG,etc. Apart from MBBS, courses like BDS, Ayush, Veterinary sciences also conduct admissions through NEET. In some States, courses like Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy also accept NEET score. So, if you are searching for any Medical College, this information showing up is pretty normal.
