No! The NEET 2026 syllabus is not reduced. The NMC has released the final syllabus of NEET 2026 and there are no changes. The syllabus of NEET UG exam is generally prepared on the basis of NCERT syllabus of classes 11 and 12. In the academic year 2024-25, the NCERT syllabus was revised. Several chapters and topics were removed from the NCERT syllabus like the entire 'Hydrogen' and 's-Block Elements' chapters in Class 11 Chemistry. Considering this reduction in the NCERT syllabus and NMC’s focusing more on conceptual learning, it is very likely that the NEET UG syllabus 2026 will be reduced.
