AAU VET Exam 2025: Registration (Closed), Exam Date, Syllabus & Pattern

The application process for AAU VET 2025 needs to be done in online mode. The detailed process has been described below.

• Registration: Visit the online registration portal at aau.ac.in and enter basic details such as a valid email ID, contact number, and more. After successful registration, the login ID and password will be sent to the registered email ID and phone number. 

• Fee payment: Login using the login ID and password and select the category. Candidates will then be redirected to the payment gateway for fee payment. 

• Filling out the application form: After successful fee payment, candidates will have to fill out the application form by entering their personal and academic details and uploading the documents.

Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria of AAU VET 2025 to appear for the entrance exam. Check the below-mentioned eligibility criteria for AAU VET 2025.

Eligibility criteria for BVSc & AH program

• Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Agriculture as main subjects from a recognised board, including NIOS. 

• Candidates belonging to the General/OBC/UPS category must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, whereas those belonging to SC/ST/DAC category must have secured a minimum of 40% aggregate. 

• The minimum age of candidates should be 17 years and the maximum age should be 25 years, on or before December 31, 2025.

Eligibility criteria for MVSc program

• A candidate must have passed the B.Sc. (Agri)/ B.Sc. (Hort.)/ B.Sc. (Seri.)/ B.Sc (Agri. Biotech)/ B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture/ Horticulture/ B.Sc.(H.Sc.)/ B.Sc. (Hons) Community Science/ B.F.Sc./ B.Tech (Fishery Science) of 4 years duration/ B.V.Sc & A.H. of 5 or 5 and half years duration from a recognized university. 

• Candidates must have secured a minimum CGPA of 2.60/4.00 scale or 3.25/5.00 scale or 6.60/10.00 scale for Gen/OBC/UPS category and 2.20/4.00 or 2.75/5.00 or 5.60/10.00 for SC/ST/DAC.

• In case the Grade points are not awarded, the candidate must have secured at least 60% marks for General/OBC/UPS category and 50% marks for SC/ST/DAC category.

Candidates appearing for AAU VET 2025 must know about the exam pattern for better preparation. AAU VET examination will be conducted in pen and paper mode. The detailed AAU VET exam pattern 2025 is given in the table below.

The authority will issue the AAU VET admit card 2025 in online mode. Candidates who will receive the confirmation regarding the successful submission of the application form will be able to download the admit card. 

Admit card is the mandatory document without which candidates will not be able to appear for the exam. Along with the admit card, candidates will also have to carry a valid ID proof (Aadhaar card/ Voter ID card/ PAN card/ Driving License/ Passport). • Visit the official website of AAU: aau.ac.in

• Click on the link ‘VET 2025 Admit Card’

• Login using your user ID and password

• Enter the application number and date of birth

• Click on the ‘submit’ button

• AAU VET 2025 Admit Card will appear on the screen.

• Download and take printout of the admit card

The authority will declare the AAU VET result 2025 for all the candidates in online mode in the form of a merit list. Candidates can check their AAU VET 2025 result by following the steps mentioned below.

• Click on the link ‘VET Result 2025’

• Login using your user ID and password

• Then enter the hall ticket number

• AAU VET 2025 result will appear on the screen in pdf format

• Download and take a printout of the result 

Candidates who will qualify for AAU VET 2025 will be called for the counselling process. Candidates will have to be medically fit for AAU VET admission. AAU VET counselling will be conducted to grant admission to 150 BVSc & AH seats, 106 MVSc seats and 52 PhD seats in various veterinary colleges of Assam
