Along with the OMR sheet, the NTA NEET official answer key is also released on the official website, using which candidates can calculate their scores. Aspirants have the option to challenge the OMR sheet of NEET 2025. Candidates can avail of the facility of NEET 2025 OMR sheet challenge, if they feel the answer marked is not displayed or is incorrect. NEET OMR sheet challenge can be done within the specified date and time at the official website, neet.ntaonline.in. To object to the NEET answer sheet 2025, aspirants have to pay Rs. 200 per question. Check the steps to challenge the NEET OMR sheet NTA below.
Step 1: Click on the official link provided on this page.
Step 2: Enter the NEET application number and password to log in
Step 3: Click on the ‘OMR challenge’ option available on the page
Step 4: Choose the option ‘Click here for OMR challenge’ to challenge the options marked
Step 5: Then, the number of questions and answers marked by aspirants will be displayed on the screen
Step 6: Click on the boxes before the question you wish to challenge and provide the alternative to the given option through the dropdown options as shown in the image below.
Step 7: Similarly, candidates can challenge other questions provided in the NEET OMR sheet pdf download. After selecting alternate ‘candidate claim’ from the drop-down option, click on the ‘submit’ tab provided below on the page.
After clicking on the ‘submit’ tab, a message on the screen will appear stating’ “Ensure all the challengeable questions have been selected. No further chance will be allowed after final submission.” The candidates will be redirected to pay the processing fee after clicking on submit.

Since NEET UG 2025 is conducted in pen and paper-based mode, the candidate must ensure that they fill the responses in the OMR sheet of NEET properly. Candidates often make mistakes while filling out the NEET 2025 answer sheet PDF. Candidates are provided black/blue ballpoint at the NEET exam centre 2025 with which the responses have to be filled in the NEET 2025 OMR sheet. It is essential to fill the entire bubble for it to be considered a valid response. Otherwise, the machine will not be able to grade the response sheet and it will be considered an invalid response.
NEET UG is held for 3 hours & 20 minutes from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM. NEET question paper is divided into two parts - Part A and Part B. A total of 200 questions are asked from physics, chemistry, botany, and zoology. Each subject had 50 questions - 35 questions in Part A and 15 questions in Part B. The answer key by NTA carries all the answers for the respective codes of the NEET question paper. NEET answer key download link is provided on the official website - neet.ntaonline.in. NEET answer key PDF 2025 mentions the answers to the questions asked in the medical entrance test. With the help of the NTA NEET 2025 solution key, candidates can calculate their expected scores. For example, when you wish to take a course depending on how much you are interested in pursuing a career through JEE Main, you approach the main official website of NTA. The same applies to NEET, as you have to log in to the main official website of NBE.
A score of 149 in NEET may not guarantee entry into a government dental college, not to say a first-grade one. You still stand chances with private dental colleges.
What do you do?
The Cutoff Trends: Look at the last year cut off score for NEET for private dental colleges in your state or region. This would tell you how likely your chances are of getting admission.
State Quota Seats: If you are domicile of any state, you can check the cut-off for government and private dental college specific to that state. The cutoff scores for State Quota seats are generally low compared to All India Quota.
Private Colleges: Most private dental colleges admit candidates with lower NEET scores. However, the fees in private colleges are generally higher.
Explore Other Options: If the seat in dentistry does not work out, then you could consider other healthcare-related courses like B. Sc Nursing, B. Pharm, or B. Sc. Microbiology.
Remember: NEET cut-offs change every year based on one or several factors such as applicant's strength, levels of difficulty in examination and availability of seats.
It is always wise to update oneself on the latest information and seek advice from academic counselors or other experts before settling for a final decision.
Mainly it's depends on paper difficulty and number of candidates appeared for NEET exam which is more than 23 lakh. if you belong to sc category it might be easier to you .As you can see this year tremendous jump of Cut off from 620 to 655 for general category And even some General category students can't get government College seat at this score.
If the same scenario happens next year, the safe score would be 560 plus for sc category.
So ,to the conclusion, for sc category, the safe mark would be between 560 to 660.

Yes, you can get a seat depending on the cut-off mark but in non clinical post at this rank.if you are satisfied with this go ahead or you can do is try next year and achieve good rank for clinical.
