The Atal Medical and Research University, Himachal Pradesh (AMRU) is conducting the Himachal AYUSH counselling for 260 seats under the 85% state quota seats in AYUSH UG courses (BAMS, BHMS, and BSRMS). The authority has started stray round 4 HP AYUSH counselling 2025 registrations. The registrations and choice filling can be done from December 17 to 18.
HP AYUSH 2025 counselling is conducted based on NEET UG scores in three major rounds - 1st, 2nd and 3rd round, followed up by a stray vacancy round. Candidates qualified for the NEET UG exam are eligible to sit for the counselling rounds. Through Himachal Pradesh AYUSH counselling 2025, admissions will be granted to Rajiv Gandhi Govt. P.G. Eligible aspirants looking for admission to the AYUSH courses will have to fill out the online application form from the university website. 6 major steps need to be followed while filling up the application form. These steps are - Filling up personal details along with photograph and signature, filling in address details, filling in eligibility and category details, filling in qualification details, uploading documents and fee payment.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to fill out the HP AYUSH application form 2025.
Click on “Apply for admission” on the Admission menu of the home page of the university website (amruhp.ac.in) or click on “Admission > apply for admission > BAMS/BHMS”
Fill the fields - “admission quota and category, candidate’s name, father’s name, NEET UG 2025 roll number, a valid email ID and mobile number.
After entering email id click on “verify email” button to verify email and similarly after entering mobile number, click on the verify button. An OTP will be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number. Enter the OTP to verify the email ID and mobile number.
Upon successful verification, a system-generated credential will be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number.
Login using the credentials provided in the email address and the registered mobile number.
Fill all the educational qualification details asked and also upload a scanned copy of the same in the prescribed format.
Pay the application fee of Rs 2,000 (Rs.1,000 for the reserved category students) and take a printout of the duly filled application form.
Note: It is to be noted that the confirmation copy of the online application form needs to be submitted along with the allotment letter at the time of reporting to the allotted college after the counselling process.

Once the authority closes the registration window for HP AYUSH admissions 2025, a merit list is published. The authority then draws and notifies the combined as well as category–wise merit list based on the All India merit ranking of NEET-UG 2025. The merit list includes names of only the qualified candidates who have submitted their application form and have obtained the printout of confirmation copy within the stipulated period as mentioned in the prospectus.
The HP AYUSH merit list is made available on the university website amruhp.ac.in. The merit list is based on the NEET UG score, AIR, cut-off scores, eligibility criteria and various other factors. The HP AYUSH merit list is generated for 85% state quota seats in AYUSH UG courses (BAMS, BHMS). HP AYUSH 2025 merit list includes the name of the candidate, All India rank, NEET 2025 score. Aspirants whose names appear on the merit list must sit for the counselling rounds. During the counselling process, aspirants must provide their courses and colleges' preferences.

Online counselling is conducted by the Atal Medical & Research University through centralised counselling for the 85% seats under state quota. The university fills up all the seats of private colleges under the State/All India quota of the aforesaid college in order of merit through an online centralised counselling committee to be constituted by the director of AYUSH, Himachal Pradesh.
After the provisional allocation of seats during the first and subsequent rounds of counselling, aspirants can download the provisional admission letters from the university website and report to the principal of the respective college along with all requisite original documents and print out a confirmation copy of the online application. After verification of original documents and fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility criteria, medical fitness and fee deposition etc. the candidates again have to report to the provisional allocated college for their joining.
HP AYUSH counselling 2025 is conducted in online mode and consists of three rounds, followed by a stray vacancy round. Aspirants who are allotted a seat need to pay a refundable fee of Rs 25,000 as a security token, failing to do so, the seat is not allotted. The students can get a refund of the security token within six months of their last date of admission.
