Hello there,
With a NEET score of 420 and belonging to the SC category in Maharashtra, getting admission to a semi-government medical college is possible but may be challenging.
Here’s why:
The cutoff scores for government medical colleges are usually higher than 420, especially for popular seats.
Semi-government colleges often have lower cutoffs compared to fully government colleges, so your score may fit their range.
Your SC reservation helps improve chances, but competition is still tough.
Admission depends on seat availability, counseling rounds, and category-wise cutoff for the year 2025.
In short: With 420 marks and SC quota, you stand a fair chance in semi-government medical colleges in Maharashtra, but it’s best to participate in counseling and apply to multiple colleges to increase your chances.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
