As per the previous year’s Maharashtra NEET PG seat matrix, admission will be conducted for 1522 MD/MS seats in government colleges, 988 MD/MS seats in private colleges, and 16 PD Diploma seats. Candidates who qualify the NEET PG exam are eligible to participate in the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling. The MCC conducts the NEET PG counselling for 50% All India Quota seats. While Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell conducts the counselling for 50% state quota seats. The admission is granted on the basis of choices filled, availability of seats in the participating colleges, reservation criteria and NEET PG rank.

To get reservation benefits in both All India Quota (AIQ) and Maharashtra State Quota, you need to follow two different steps.
While filling the NEET PG application form (for AIQ), choose General-EWS using your central EWS certificate. This will help you get the 10% EWS reservation in colleges across India.

Yes, you are eligible. After completing Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Pathology, you can appear again for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate if you have a valid MBBS degree and registration with the National Medical Commission. However, government rules about funding or seat eligibility may vary.
