The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the seat matrix of Maharashtra NEET PG 2025 counselling. The Maharashtra NEET PG seat matrix is released for admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS) and PG Diploma in government and private institutions in the state. As per the released seat matrix, there are 1522 MD/MS seats in Government colleges, 988 MD/MS seats in private colleges, and 16 PD Diploma seats in Maharashtra NEET PG 2025.
A total of 26,889 candidates, including 466 Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), have been allotted seats for MD, MS, and PG Diploma, as well as DNB CET courses. Candidates can access their allotment status on the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in.

Candidates who qualify the NEET PG exam are eligible to participate in the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling 2025. The MCC conducts the NEET PG counselling for 50% All India Quota seats. While Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell conducts the counselling for 50% state quota seats. The admission is granted on the basis of choices filled, availability of seats in the participating colleges, reservation criteria and NEET PG rank.

Yes, MCC can reduce the NEET PG cutoff if many seats remain vacant during counselling. The decision depends on seat availability in each round. Cutoff reduction does not happen every year. Candidates should keep checking the official MCC website for updates.
