    The NEET exam is the single largest medical entrance exam, conducted by the NTA. Securing a rank of 40,000 in NEET can be both a rewarding and challenging experience for aspiring medical students. A 40,000 rank in NEET marks is in the range of 620 to 640. While a 40,000 rank in NEET may not guarantee admission to the top government medical colleges in India, there are plenty of other colleges for students to consider.

    Over 24 lakh students appear for the NEET exam this year. The neet counselling 2024 will be conducted to grant over 1 lakh MBBS seats, 26,949 BDS seats, 52,720 AYUSH seats, 603 BVSc & AH, 1,899 seats in AIIMS colleges in India, and 249 JIPMER seats in 612 medical and 315 dental colleges. These all seats are further distributed category-wise hence making it quite challenging to secure admission to a good college with a 40000 rank in NEET.
