NEET PG 2025 - Exam Date, Application Form, Syllabus, Exam Pattern & Preparation

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, New Delhi (NBEMS) will conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate, NEET PG 2025 for admission to MD/MS/PG diploma courses for the 2025-26 session. The NEET PG 2025 expected date is to be in June. The NEET PG 2025 important date along with the complete schedule will be provided by the NBE on its official information bulletin.
The NBE will release the information brochure, mentioning the schedule and NEET PG 2025 eligibility criteria. The online NEET PG 2025 registrations will be commenced on the official website, natboard.edu.in. A NEET PG correction window 2025 will be provided to rectify the mistakes made in the application form. The NEET PG admit card 2025 will be released online and the exam will be conducted online. The authority will declare the NEET PG 2025 result in the form of a scorecard and a merit list will be prepared. Based on the merit list prepared, NEET PG counselling 2025 will be conducted by MCC.
200 questions will be asked in the NEET PG exam. There will be a sectional timing for each section, totalling 3 hours and 30 minutes. For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded, while 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. No marks will be given for an unattempted question. NEET PG 2025 eligibility criteria
Candidates must meet the required NEET PG eligibility criteria 2025 before filling out the application form. The essential requirements for NEET PG 2025 eligibility criteria are listed below.
- Candidates are required to possess an MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognised by the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
- Aspirants must have MBBS qualification registration (permanent/provisional) issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC).
- Candidates must complete their one-year internship on or before August 15, 2025.
- There is no NEET PG 2025 age limit

After downloading the admit card, the aspirants must fix a recent passport-size photograph on the space provided on the NEET PG admit card 2025. It is an important document and without an admit card of NEET PG 2025, no candidate will not be allowed to appear for the test.

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) prepares the syllabus for NEET PG. NEET PG 2025 result
The NEET PG 2025 result will be declared by NBE at nbe.edu.in in the form of a merit list. The merit list of NEET PG 2025 will mention the roll number, marks obtained, All India Rank (AIR), candidate name and other details. The result of NEET PG 2025 will be valid for one academic year only. To download the scorecard of NEET PG 2025, aspirants need to enter their user ID and password.
NEET PG 2025 counselling
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts the NEET PG counselling for 50% of All India Quota (AIQ), and 100% deemed and central universities, ESIC, and AFMS seats, the state counselling authorities conduct counselling for the remaining 50% of state quota seats. The authority will conduct several rounds of All India Quota counselling for NEET PG 2025 qualified candidates. Candidates will have to register, pay fees, and fill in choices of courses and colleges.
