Raipur Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur releases cutoff for MBBS program after the conclusion of the counselling process. The RIMS Raipur cutoff for MBBS course represents the minimum rank or score that a candidate must achieve to secure admission in the institute. The Raipur Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Raipur is affiliated to Pt. Deendayal Upadhaya Memorial Health Sciences and Ayush University, Raipur. The institute offers an MBBS program that spans for 5.5 years including a one-year compulsory internship program. Admission to the MBBS course at the RIMS Raipur is granted based on the scores obtained in the NEET examination. After qualifying NEET, candidates need to participate in the Chhattisgarh NEET counselling process conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education, Chhattisgarh. RIMS Raipur MBBS cutoff varies every year depending on the factors which are listed below.
The cutoff is affected by the total number of candidates who appeared for the NEET examination. If the number of candidates increases in the given year, the cutoff also increases.
NEET difficulty level is another factor that affects the cutoff. If the exam is tougher than usual, it tends to lower the cutoff.
