It is imperative for candidates to know the eligibility criteria of AIIMS Nursing 2020 before filling the application form. Given below are the specific points of eligibility that candidates need to fulfil.
Eligibility criteria for B.Sc Nursing (Post-basic)
Candidates must pass their Class 12 under the 10+2 system or equivalent from a recognised board/university (Candidates who passed their 10+2 on or before the year 1987 are also eligible for the same)
Candidates must possess Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from any institution which is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council
Female candidates must be registered as nurse, Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Midwife (RM) with any State Nursing Council
Male candidates who have passed the examination before implementation of new integrated course, should fulfil the below-mentioned criteria:
4.1 Register themselves as a nurse with the State Nursing Council
4.2 Should have a diploma in General Nursing
4.3 Instead of Training in Midwifery candidates should have training for a period of six months in any of the following subjects

Candidates must complete 17 years of age as on December 31, 2020
Nursing applicants must pass their 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised university/board with Physics, Biology, English and Chemistry as compulsory subjects
The minimum qualifying marks for General/ OBC category students is an aggregate of 55% in the compulsory subjects mentioned in the point above. SC/ST category candidates must secure an aggregate of 50% in the same
Candidates who are in the passing year of their 10+2 are also eligible to apply
Eligibility criteria for M.Sc Nursing
Candidates must have passed B.Sc Nursing/ B.Sc (H) Nursing (Post Basic)/ post certificate from Indian Nursing Council recognized board/university
Candidates belonging to General/ OBC category must secure a minimum of 60% and those belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) must secure a minimum of 55% in the qualifying exam
Candidates must be RM or RN with any State Nursing Council
AIIMS, New Delhi has released the application form of AIIMS Nursing on December 12, 2020, for B.Sc Nursing (Post-Basic)/ B.Sc (H) Nursing. The application form for M.Sc. Nursing will be released on December 13, 2019. The last date to complete the basic registration of AIIMS Nursing application form is January 16, 2020. The entire process of registration of AIIMS Nursing 2020 is done in online mode. According to the new Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR), there will be two stages of registration. First, candidates have to complete basic registration and get the final status of the same followed by the final registration.
Only after candidates complete both the steps of filling the application form of AIIMS Nursing 2020 they will be able to generate a Registration Unique Code (RUC) which will be issued from March 14 to April 15. This code will be of help to students for completing the remaining procedures of AIIMS Nursing application form 2020. The application form of M.Sc.
