The Re-NEET 2026 examination was conducted successfully on June 21. NTA publishes the provisional answer key after the exam and provides a challenge window against the provisional answer key. Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key by paying a fee of Rs.200 per challenged question. After reviewing the challenges, the final answer key is released by NTA. Along with the answer key, NTA also releases the NEET OMR response sheets.

Candidates can download the Re-NEET 2026 provisional answer key from the official website i.e neet.nta.nic.in, after NTA activates the answer key link.

Candidates who identify discrepancies in the provisional answer key can submit objections through the NTA's official challenge portal. The challenge process is conducted online, and candidates may need to upload supporting documents or evidence to justify their claim. NTA usually charges a fee for each question challenged, and this fee is generally non-refundable.
After the objection window closes, subject experts review all the challenges submitted by candidates. Based on their recommendations, NTA prepares and releases the final answer key, which is used for calculating the Re-NEET 2026 results.
Candidates can calculate their expected scores using the official marking scheme.

Incorrect Answer: -1 Marks
Unanswered Question: 0 Marks
Formula to Calculate NEET Score = (Number of Correct Answers × 4) − (Number of Incorrect Answers × 1)
The provisional answer key is not final. After reviewing all objections, NTA publishes the final answer key. The Re-NEET 2026 result will be prepared based on the final answer key only. Candidates are not allowed to challenge the final answer key.
