The National Testing Agency will conduct the NEET UG 2026 on May 3, 2026. The NEET entrance exam will be held from 2 PM to 5 PM across India and abroad. Documents Required for NEET Exam Hall 2026

A coloured printed copy of NEET admit card
One passport size photograph (to be pasted on the attendance sheet)
One postcard size photograph (4’’X6’’) (should be pasted on the Proforma)

NEET UG Admit Card 2026: The NEET 2026 admit card is a crucial document containing information about the candidate, exam centre name and address. The document acts as an entry pass to the examination hall. It is not possible to enter the exam centre without it. The admit card was released on April 26, 2026 on the official website. Registered candidates need to affix the postcard size photograph the same as uploaded in the NEET application form 2026.
Passport Size Photograph for NEET 2026: Candidates are required to carry an extra passport size photo for NEET 2026 to the exam hall. As per the NTA guidelines, aspirants need to paste one passport size photograph on the admit card same as uploaded in the application form. The other one should be pasted on the attendance sheet in the exam hall. The passport size photograph should have 80% face coverage and the candidate should be clearly visible.
Postcard Size Photograph for NEET 2026: The postcard-size photo for NEET 2026 must be pasted by the candidate on the proforma. Candidates need to download the NEET proforma along with the admit card. The NEET proforma is a self declaration form which contains all the exam instructions for the student and ensures the same guidelines must be followed during the exam. Candidates can download the NEET 2026 admit card undertaking and fill in all the details as asked by the conducting authority.
A Valid ID Proof for NET 2026: Along with the admit card, candidates must carry a valid ID proof issued by the government for the verification process on the exam day. PwBD Certificate for NEET 2026: The PwBD certificate 2026 is required for candidates who come under the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category. The PwBD certificate issued by a recognized medical authority will be accepted only after proper verification. Candidates must carry the concerned document to the exam centre on exam day as no student will be allowed to enter the exam hall without the valid document who claim reservation under the PwD category.

Yes, attempts are generally counted only when you actually appear for the exam and your paper gets evaluated. If you skip the re-exam/attempt and do not appear, it normally does not count as an extra attempt.
