The NEET photo requirements 2026 for postcard size photo including format, size and dimensions are specified by the National Testing Agency. Candidates appearing for the NEET 2026 must upload and paste the postcard size photo as per the requirement provided by NTA.
NEET postcard size photo dimensions: The postcard size photo must be 4 inches by 6 inches. The size of a postcard photo should be between 10 KB to 200 KB. Candidates need to check the correct size and format before uploading the document during the application process to prevent rejection and delay.
Postcard size photo for NEET 2026 background: The postcard photo must have a plain white background. It does not support photos with coloured and patterned backgrounds.
Face visibility: At least 80% of the candidate’s face and ears must be visible in the photograph. It should clearly show the candidate’s face who is appearing for the exam.
Name and date: The NEET photo must contain the name of the candidate and date of taking the photograph which is on or after January 1, 2026. Older photos are not accepted.
Clothes: Candidates must have plain or casual clothes in the postcard size photo for NEET 2026. Avoid multi-coloured attire, caps, sunglasses, darkglasses. However normal glasses are okay if students use them daily.
Quantity: Candidates must keep at least 4 to 6 postcard size photos for NEET 2026 during the exam process.
