NEET PG 2025 exam date postponed: Latest updates

The Press Information Bureau (PIB) has announced that the NEET PG 2025 exam will take place as planned on June 15, 2025 and has denied the rumours of NEET PG 2025 postponement. This statement was made to clear up false information spreading on social media that claimed the exam would be delayed until August 17.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has not made any changes to the NEET PG 2025. Like last year, the exam will be held in two shifts using a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format. Although some students have raised concerns about possible differences in the difficulty of the questions and the fairness of the normalisation process, NBEMS has not suggested switching back to a single-shift format.

Hi,

If you’ve accidentally selected YSRUHS instead of NTRUHS during your NEET PG application editing, don’t worry too much. These kinds of errors can often be sorted out during the counseling process or if a correction window is provided by the authorities.

Keep an eye on the official notifications from NBE and your state counseling board. If there's no correction window, it’s best to contact the helpdesk or email the authorities explaining your issue clearly—they might be able to help.

Hope this helps!

A 6-month internship is often a requirement before or at the time of admission.

Other Requirements:

Colleges may have specific requirements regarding age, citizenship, or previous board exams.

Hello Aspirant,

If you entered S B ARUN KUMAR rather than ARUN KUMAR S B in the NEET PG 2025 application, it should not be too much of a problem, particularly if your initials and full name are the same as on your documents. However, you should ensure your identity can be determined without confusion during document verification.
You would need to contact NBE (National Board of Examinations) via their official helpdesk or email to explain the situation and ask if you can correct your application or maybe put their mind at ease. If that is not an option then be sure to take a government ID and all your original documents that show your full name in the order that can be understood during the counselling or verification process. It is always best to obtain a written confirmation from NBE to avoid any issues later.
