The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS New Delhi conducts the NORCET exam for the recruitment of nursing officers. As per the NORCET 2024 reservation criteria, 80% of the total seats are reserved for female candidates and 20% of seats are reserved for male candidates in all participating AIIMS. There is no category-wise reservation in NORCET 2024.

Note: The exam will be submitted automatically and each section will appear one by one during the 90 minutes duration at one time only. Candidates will be allowed only to attempt questions in the currently active section which will remain enable for set time. They will not be allowed to view or answer any questions section other than the currently active part.

The NORCET 7 application form can be filled out online from the NORCET 2024 exam official website, aiimsexams.ac.in. The NORCET 2024 application form process can be completed in 7 major steps. The whole process of AIIMS NORCET 2024 is as follows -
Fill the experience details of the candidate like name of the organisation worked at, Designation, Start date, etc.
Select the examination city from the available city list carefully.
The correction window of NORCET 2024 allows candidates to edit and make corrections in registration and basic details filled in the application form. Categories from SC/ST to UR/OBC/EWS cannot be corrected once the registration fee is submitted. Candidature will be cancelled in case of incorrect information at any stage of recruitment. The edit window is not an extension of the date, and the last date of online registration will be treated as the last date for all recruitment purposes under NORCET 2024.
The admit cards of NORCET 2024 are released on the official website aiimsexams.ac.in. Bringing the NORCET 7 admit card to the exam centre is mandatory, without it, no candidate can sit for the examination. Also, students need to hand over the NORCET 2024 admit card to the invigilator after completing the examination.

The syllabus of NORCET 2024 comprises the subjects of the educational qualification, that is the syllabus of B.Sc nursing, GNM, Post-basic nursing. 20 multiple choice questions are asked from the General Knowledge & Aptitude and 80 multiple choice questions are asked from the syllabus of the nursing courses of the educational qualification.
All the candidates will have to obtain certain percentage of marks to qualify the prelims and mains stage of the NORCET 2024. The qualifying percentage for NORCET 2024 is listed below -

The AIIMS NORCET prelims result will be announced on September 28 on the official website aiimsexams.ac.in. The mains of AIIMS NORCET 2024 will be conducted for only those candidates who will qualify the prelims. The marks obtained in the NORCET 2024 mains will be considered for the merit list while the prelims will be qualifying only. The successful candidates will be called for the document verification process and upon successful completion, they will be recruited in the participating institutes and AIIMS colleges in India.
In case if more than one candidate are securing equal MARKS, the following tie-breaking criteria is applied for preparing the NORCET 2024 merit list-
The older candidate will be placed higher in the merit list
If the tie still exists, then the candidate with fewer wrong answers will be given a preference
