As per the latest update the first edit window of NEET SS 2025 is closed on November 30. The final edit window of NEET SS 2025 for making correction in the photograph, signature, and thumb impressions will be made available from December 12, 2025.

Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria of NEET SS 2025 to appear for the entrance exam. These eligibility criteria for NEET SS 2025 are as follows -
Aspirants must hold a provisional pass certificate in postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) or any equivalent examination.
Applicants must have a provisional or permanent registration certificate issued by the State Medical Council (SMC) or National Medical Commission (NMC), which they must also produce at the exam centre on the NEET SS exam date.
MCI registration certificate is not required by the Non-Resident Indians to appear for NEET SS but they need to be registered with the respective medical authority of their country.
Temporary registration is provided to such foreign national candidates till the duration of the postdoctoral degree after qualifying for the exam. This registration is limited to the college/institution to which anyone gets admission.
Only those candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can fill the NEET SS application form in five steps mentioned below.
Aspirants need to register themselves by visiting the official website, nbe.edu.in or natboard.edu.in. Candidates need to click on the new registration tab and enter their personal, contact details. Once the details are verified, candidates can submit the form and confirm their NEET SS registration 2025. A confirmation message is sent to the registered mobile number and email ID mentioning the user ID and password.
Using the login credentials, user ID and password, aspirants need to log in to their NEET SS applicant portal. Candidates then can fill NEET SS application form 2025 and enter their personal, academic, contact and other information.
Aspirants need to upload a passport-size photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression at the time of filling out the application form for NEET SS 2025. The documents to be uploaded should be done as per the specifications mentioned by NBE.
After uploading documents at the time of NEET SS application form 2025 candidates need to provide their preferences of exam centres in which they wish to take the exam. Based on the choices filled, the NEET SS exam centres 2025 are allotted on a first come first serve basis.
Once the application process for NEET SS 2025 is over, aspirants need to pay the application fees of Rs. 3500 irrespective of their categories in online mode. The NEET SS application form 2025 is only considered successfully submitted, once the application fee is paid.
After the successful submission of the NEET SS 2025 application form, the confirmation page is displayed on the screen. This confirmation page of the NEET SS application form 2025 mentions the names of candidates, personal, academic, contact and other details.
NEET SS admit card is released for candidates whose application forms are accepted by the authority. It is important to download the NEET SS admit card 2025 as it should be carried along with other documents at the time of examination and is also required during the NEET SS counselling process.

The NEET SS 2025 exam will be conducted in groups, and the paper consists of questions from primary feeders with broad specialities. The examination now allows candidates to choose any super specialties based on their feeder subject instead of the previous pattern where they could only opt for two super specialties.
The question paper of NEET SS 2025 will consist of 13 different groups, which include all DM/MCh/DrNB courses offered for admission through NEET SS 2025. Admission to every superspecialty course covered in a particular group is done through a common question paper.
The question paper contains 150 questions, and they should be completed in two and a half hour (150 minutes). Questions for both the General/ Basic component and all sub-speciality/systems/components of the primary feeder broad speciality subject are included in the question paper. The 150 questions that are asked are based on the Post Graduate Exit curriculum for the primary feeder broad speciality subject.
4 marks are given for each correct answer. For incorrect answers, 1 mark is deducted. No deduction of marks is done for any unattempted question.
NBE announces the NEET SS result for all specialities in online mode. Candidates who have successfully appeared for the entrance exam can download NEET SS 2025 results online. Aspirants need to secure the prescribed NEET SS cut off set by NBE.
NEET SS result include the roll number of candidates, marks obtained, and NEET SS rank secured in the entrance exam. NEET SS result PDF must be saved for future reference. The result of NEET SS 2025 will be valid for the particular year of admission. Candidates who wish to take admission through NEET SS results in DM/MCh courses cannot take admission for the next academic session.
The NBE declares the NEET SS cut off along with the result. Candidates need to score a minimum of 50th percentile to qualify the NEET SS exam. The previous year's group wise NEET SS cut off for all 15 groups is provided here.

The counselling of NEET SS 2025 will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for admission to 2447 DM and MCh seats. A total of two rounds are conducted for NEET SS. Candidates are required to register for each round separately. After the NEET SS counselling registration process for each round, aspirants need to provide their preferences of colleges as well as specialisations into which they wish to take admission. Based on these preferences, NEET SS rank, seat availability, reservation criteria and other factors, the seat allotment of NEET SS 2025 is done.
Once the seats are allotted, shortlisted candidates must report at the respective college for completion of the admission process and document verification. Before reporting at the colleges, aspirants need to download the NEET SS allotment letter indicating the personal details, category rank, date and time to report at the colleges. In case, the candidate is not satisfied with the allotted college, he/she can opt for an option for withdrawal/refusal and can appear for further rounds of NEET SS counselling.

The NEET SS exam was conducted on 10th January 2022, and the results have not been released yet. However, the results are expected to be out by today, that is, 31st January 2022. The result will be abailable for 32 specialities and at the official website which is nbe.edu (//nbe.edu) .in
