Medicines can cure diseases, but only doctors can cure patients. Doctors play a major role in our society. To become a medical practitioner, one must join a medical college and study at different levels to become a Medical Doctor. According to the marks and merits of the entrance exam you take after 12th, you get admission in a medical college. First, you do MBBS which is for 5.5 years, then you pursue MD or MS for specialization in different areas of medical fields. To become a good doctor, you must study hard and research extensively.
