There are 302 M.P.T colleges in India, out of which 275 are private and 27 are government MPT colleges. The Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) course is a specialised program for physiotherapists, who want to advance their knowledge in particular areas of physical therapy. Candidates can opt for MPT after completing the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) degree. In the MPT course, students specialise in areas such as orthopaedics, neurology, cardiopulmonary, paediatric physiotherapy and many more. Some of the MPT colleges in India are St Johns medical college, Sri ramachandra institute, Jamia hamdard, Kasturba medical college and many more.
