The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi conducts the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET). Through AIIMS NORCET 8, recruitments will be done for the 1794 posts of Nursing Officer in various AIIMS/ NITRD/ AIIPMR, Mumbai/ CNCI Kolkata.
The complete AIIMS NORCET 8 dates have been released by the authority. Eligible candidates can fill the NORCET 2025 application form till March 17, 2025. AIIMS NORCET 8 exam date for prelims is April 12, 2025. Stage II AIIMS NORCET 8 exam date is May 2, 2025.
NORCET 8 exam is conducted in two stages: Stage I (prelims) and Stage II (mains). Candidates who qualify the prelims exam are considered for the Stage II examination. NORCET 2025 exam is conducted in computer based mode. The authority issues the NORCET admit cards for the registered candidates.

NORCET 2025 application form can be filled in online mode at aiimsexams.ac.in. To complete the AIIMS NORCET 8 application form, candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps.
Step1: Registration
Candidates must fill their full name, date of birth, category, gender, email ID and mobile number.
Login credentials are created and sent to the registered email ID.
Login using the credentials and change password.
Login again using the newly created credentials.
Step 2: Filling qualification and address details
Candidates need to enter their qualification details as required.
In the next step, candidates must enter the permanent and correspondence address details.
Step 3: Filling working experience
Candidates are required to enter their working experience details such as the name of the organization where they worked, designation and others.
Step 4: Paying application form fees
Once all the details are entered, candidates need to pay the NORCET 8 application form fees.
Application fee can be paid in online mode through credit card/ debit card/ internet banking. The AIIMS NORCET 2025 application fee can be checked from the table below.

Note: Application fees of SC/ST candidates who appear for the NORCET exam are refunded after declaration of results when the SC/ST certificate is verified.
Step 5: AIIMS NORCET test city selection
Candidates need to select the NORCET 8 exam centre from the available list.
Candidates must note that the exam city once selected cannot be changed later.
Step 6: Uploading images
In the next step, candidates are required to upload the images of photograph, signature and left thumb impression in the application form in prescribed format. The AIIMS NORCET 2025 photo specifications can be checked from the table below.

Step 7: Taking print out of the application form
Once the application form is filled, candidates must review the details filled in the AIIMS NORCET 8 application form and submit.
Candidates must download the application form and take print outs for future reference.
The authority provides the opportunity to the registered candidates to make corrections in the application form through the AIIMS NORCET 2025 correction window. Candidates can make corrections in application form registration and basic candidates information within the specified dates of NORCET 8 correction window. No further opportunity is provided to make corrections in the NORCET 2025 application form.
Note: Candidates cannot change their category after the submission of NORCET 8 application form fees. Once the fee is submitted, the category entered cannot be changed during the correction window process.

AIIMS New Delhi issues the NORCET 2025 admit cards to the registered candidates only. The AIIMS NORCET 8 admit cards are issued at the official website: aiimsexams.ac.in. Candidates need to login through their credentials to download the NORCET 2025 admit card. It must be noted that the authority does not send the AIIMS NORCET 8 admit card by post. Candidates must download the admit card from the official website and carry the same to the examination centre.

AIIMS New Delhi announces the result of the NORCET stage I exam at the official website: aiimsexams.ac.in. The AIIMS NORCET 2025 stage II exam is conducted for the prelims qualified candidates only. The authority prepares a merit list based on the scores obtained in the NORCET 2025 stage II exam. Candidates who are qualified for the stage II AIIMS NORCET 8 exam are called for the document verification process. After the documents are verified, candidates are recruited in the AIIMS colleges in India.
NORCET 8 tie breaking criteria
In case two or more candidates secure equal marks in AIIMS NORCET 8 exam, the authority applied the below mentioned tie breaking criteria.
Candidate older in age is placed higher.
If the tie is not resolved, the candidate with fewer wrong answers is considered first.
