The candidate should have completed MBBS/BDS with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or should have a degree in MD/MS/MDS/DM/ MCh in the subject concerned or Diplomate of National Board of Examination.
Aspirants holding MSc degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Nursing speciality are also eligible for AIIMS PhD 2024.
The non-medical candidates should hold a master’s degree (two year’s course) awarded by Indian Universities or equivalent.
Candidates holding M.Sc. (Other than M.Sc. Nursing) M.Tech. degree, BAMS & BHMS are eligible for the non-medical qualification category. Candidates having eligibility under non-medical category should have at least 60% marks in the last eligibility examination qualified.
The application form of AIIMS PhD 2024 should be submitted before the deadline. No candidate can apply for more than 3 applications. The step-by-step guide to fill the AIIMS PhD 2024 application form is as follows -
Go to the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in
Click on the “academic courses” and click on “PhD” section
Under the “New registration” button, click on “Click here”
Click on the “Proceed” button and fill all the details asked in the new candidate registration form
After filling the required information then click on the “Register” button. A message will appear on screen containing ‘Candidate ID’ and ’Password’. An Email and SMS will also be sent to registered email Id and mobile number having login credentials
Login with the credentials received and change the password and keep it safe for the future references
Re-login using the candidate ID and the new changed password
After this, a page with all the 7 steps of the registration process will appear.
On the registration page, fill in all the details asked carefully and then click on “update” button
After the first step of registration is completed, the next step is to fill the educational qualifications. Fill all the required fields carefully and then click on “save and proceed” button
After the qualification details are filled, fill the experience details asked and then click on “save & proceed” button
The next step is to select the exam centre. There is only one exam centre available for the AIIMS PhD 2024 exam - Delhi NCR. After that click on the “proceed” button
Pay the requisite application fee by online mode and after the successful completion take a print out of the payment receipt
After successful payment confirmation, upload the latest passport size photograph, signature and thumb impression in the proper format. The supported digital image format includes gif, png, jpg/jpeg.
After successful image uploading, click on the “save and proceed” button
Cross check all the details mentioned in the AIIMS PhD 2024 application form and take a printout of it and logout.

Note: No other documents other than the above mentioned are required while filling up the AIIMS PhD 2024 application form. However, students will have to go through a document verification process before getting admission at AIIMS PhD.
The registered candidates are required to download their AIIMS PhD 2024 admit cards from the official website by logging in using their credentials. Carrying AIIMS PhD 2024 admit card at the exam centre is mandatory to be allowed to sit for the test.

The result of AIIMS PhD 2024 stage I and II were declared by the authority on February 19, 2024. The AIIMS PhD 2024 admissions will start from March 12 and the last date to join the PhD programme is March 30, 2024. The admissions will be given on a merit basis.
