    JKBOPEE NEET 2026 merit list: Tie-breaking criteria

    In case two or more candidates secure equal marks in the NEET PG 2026 merit list, JKBOPEE will use the NEET MD/MS tie-breaking process as mentioned below.

    • Greater number of correct responses - Candidates with a greater number of correct responses will be placed higher in NEET PG merit list

    • Lesser number of negative responses - If the tie still exists, Aspirants with less number of negative answers will be allotted better rank

    • Age - If the tie exists, the older candidate will be given first preference

    • Higher aggregate marks in MBBS - Candidates securing higher aggregate marks (in percentage) in all MBBS professional examinations will be considered first in NEET PG merit list 2026.

    • Class 10 certificate as proof of date of birth

After completing Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Pathology, you can appear again for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate if you have a valid MBBS degree and registration with the National Medical Commission.
