J&K PG Medical Admission 2019 - Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released the seat allotment result of J&K PG medical 2019 for mop-up round, along with wait-list for vacant seats on May 13. The allotment is based on the provisional state merit list of J&K PG medical 2019 which was released on May 11, in pursuance to lowering of qualifying marks by GOI. Candidates listed in the merit list had to report at OPEE office for counselling on May 13. The J&K PG medical 2019 seat allotment result for mop-up round was declared on May 7. Allotted candidates need to join the college by May 12 (up to 4 pm). The mop-up round was conducted on May 6-7. As part of the counselling process, the candidate will have to get registered and complete other formalities. The admission conducting has released the terms and conditions, including eligibility criteria, for mop-up round in an official notification published on April 30, which has been given below (under latest links section).

J&K PG medical 2019 seat allotment result/upgradation for Round 2 after day 3 of physical counselling was declared on April 21. The upgradation and seat allotment results for day 1 and 2 were announced on April 19 and 20 respectively. The second round of J&K PG counselling 2019 was conducted in physical mode. Seat allotment/admission result of J&K PG medical 2019 for round I was announced on April 1. J&K PG medical 2019 seat allotment result contains such details like the name and roll number of allotted candidate, score, category, allotted institute, and state merit rank. Seat allotment result for MDS 2019 course was announced on March 26. The MDS seat allotment was for admission to Government Dental College and Hospital Srinagar.

The updated Provisional State Merit List of J&K PG 2019 medical admission was released on March 12. The updated list was released after considering applications submitted/documents uploaded until March 12 (2 pm). As per press release released by admission authorities, a total of eleven more candidates either submitted applications or uploaded documents during the extended deadline. Earlier the provisional J&K PG 2019 state merit list was published on March 9. Only such candidates who have registered for JK PG medical admission are included in the merit list. Candidates who are included in the updated merit list of J&K PG 2019 will be able to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process. The choice filling process is slated to commence on March 15. A mock exercise round was also be conducted on March 14. The admission to government and private medical colleges is done on the basis of NEET PG scores.


Admission authorities have released the updated seat matrix of J&K PG 2019 Medical Admission on March 15; the provisional seat matrix was released on March 11. Aspirants securing minimum qualifying marks in NEET PG are eligible for admission to medical colleges located in Jammu & Kashmir. The J&K PG medical 2019 is conducted for admission to 100% state quota seats based on the state merit list. Jammu & Kashmir does not contribute 50% seats to All India Quota scheme. Admission to around 469 MD/MS seats and 55 PG Diploma seats offered by government as well as private medical colleges.


The last date to submit completed applications/produce documents was extended to March 12 (2 pm). Previously last date was extended to March 5 from March 2. Deficiencies in the J&K 2019 application form in any respect could be completed till March 12, including uploading of requisite documents within stipulated time. Only aspirants fulfilling the certain eligibility criteria will be eligible to participate in the admission process. Based on the NEET PG scores filled in the application form, the authority has released J&K PG medical merit list 2019. Based on the state rank obtained in Jammu and Kashmir PG medical 2019 merit list, aspirants will be called for the counselling. The seat allotment process will be conducted in online mode. During counselling, aspirants will be required to enter the preferences of courses and courses. Based on these preferences, state rank and seats availability, candidates will be granted admission. J&K PG Medical Counselling 2019


The seat allotment result for mop-up round, consequent to lowering of qualifying cutoff, has been released.


NEET PG 2019 qualifying cutoff was lowered by GOI, following which a provisional state J&K PG merit list 2019 was released by admission authorities on May 11. J&K PG medical counselling 2019 for candidates who are included in the list was conducted on May 13 at 10 am in physical mode.


The seat allotment result for original mop-up round of J&K PG medical 2019 was released on May 7. The mop-up round of J&K PG medical was conducted on May 6-7 for filling vacant seats.


The day-wise seat allotment and upgradation result of Round 2 of J&K PG medical counselling has been declared. The J&K PG medical seat allotment and upgradation result for day 3 has been declared on April 21. Meanwhile, day 1 and 2 results were declared on April 19 and 20 respectively. The second round of J&K PG medical counselling is being conducted in physical mode. Allotted candidates need to report at allotted colleges to by April 30 (4 pm) and complete admission formalities.


Registration for second round of J&K PG medical 2019 counselling opened on April 19. The result of seat allotment is announced after completion of counselling every day.


The seat allotment/admission result of J&K PG medical 2019 for Round I was released on April 1. Candidates who have been included in the allotment list and selected for admission need to report at allotted institute latest by April 1 (5 pm) to complete admission formalities. A total of 474 candidates have been included in J&K PG Medical seat allotment list. Earlier, admission authority had released seat allotment result for MDS course for admission to Government Dental College and Hospital Srinagar on March 26.


Candidates selected for admission need to report at allotted college/institution on scheduled day along with originals of all relevant documents and photocopies.


JKBOPEE has started the J&K PG medical 2019 counselling process in online mode on March 15. Choice filling and payment of fee can be done from March 15 till March 23 (till 5 pm), 2019. Candidates who are included in the merit list can participate in the counselling process. The seats will be allotted on the basis of choices filled, state merit rank and number of seats available. During the J&K PG medical counselling process, aspirants have to fill their choices of colleges and courses. Once the seat is allotted, it is mandatory to report at the respective college along with the relevant documents as mentioned below.

J&K PG Medical Merit List 2019


Consequent to lowering of NEET PG 2019 qualifying percentile, GOI had directed states/UTs to come up with revised state merit lists for admission in remaining rounds of counselling. Following this directive, JKBOPEE has released the revised J&K PG medical merit list 2019 on May 11.


The updated provisional merit list of J&K PG 2019 has been released on March 12, taking into consideration candidates who have registered/uploaded documents upto March 12 (2 pm). Previously, the provisional state merit list (PSML) of Jammu and Kashmir PG medical admission 2019 was published on March 9. The merit lists is prepared using NEET PG 2019 scores.


The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of state merit rank. The merit list of J&K PG medical 2019 includes details like the name of candidates, NEET PG roll number, NEET PG rank, category, total score and state rank. However, inclusion in the merit list does not guarantee admission to J&K PG medical courses.

J&K PG Medical Eligibility Criteria 2019

It is mandatory for aspirants to check the eligibility criteria of J&K PG medical admission 2019 before filling the application form. The basic eligibility conditions have been mentioned below:

  • Aspirants must be a resident of Jammu and Kashmir state

  • Candidates must have MBBS degree obtained from University of Jammu/University of Kashmir recognised by Medical Council of India (MCI)

  • They should possess the certificate of completion of internship on or before March 31, 2019

  • Also, the registration certificate offered by MCI and State Medical Council (SMC)

  • There is no upper age limit to apply for Jammu & Kashmir PG medical admission

JKBOPEE has started the J&K PG medical 2019 application form on February 23. The applications has been made available in online mode only. The last date for J&K PG medical online registrations was March 5, 2019. A link to fill the J&K PG medical application form 2019 is available on this page. When filling the application form, the candidate are required to upload all relevant documents. Aspirants have to enter their NEET PG details, scores and rank in the form. Along with that, candidates have to pay Rs. 1500 as the application fee. The mock exercise filling of preferences will begin after the closing of application form.

  • Click on the link to start the registration process.

  • After reading the instructions on how to fill J&K PG medical application form 2019, click on apply button.

  • The application form will be displayed on the screen, where aspirants have to enter the following details:

  2. NEET PG score card 2019

  3. NEET PG All India Rank

  4. Date of birth (as mentioned in NEET PG application form 2019)

  • In the next step, the login ID and password will send to the registered email ID.

  • Login using the user ID and password to fill the remaining details and upload the required documents.

  • Thereafter, enter the registration certificate details issued by Medical Council of India (MCI)/State Medical Council (SMC), category, MBBS or BDS and other details asked in the application form.

  • Next, upload the list of following documents for the successful submission of J&K PG medical application form.
