AIIMS MBBS 2019 Exam Day Guidelines – The medical aspirants who will be taking the online exam must be familiar with the exam day guidelines of AIIMS MBBS 2019. AIIMS, New Delhi will be conducting AIIMS MBBS exam on May 25 and 26, 2019, thus the AIIMS MBBS exam day guidelines will assist candidates to prepare themselves without any last minute burden. AIIMS MBBS Exam Day Guidelines - Important Instructions

  • Candidates appearing for AIIMS MBBS 2019 should particularly check their exam date and timings in the admit card of AIIMS MBBS 2019. Candidates or their guardians should visit the centre a day before the exam in order to know about the exact location and how to reach there.

  • It is mandatory to reach the exam centre before the reporting time as printed on the hall ticket, as the entry after the closing time will not be allowed. Also, the candidates will get enough time for verification.

  • Even the candidates with a significant physical disability should report even earlier to ensure a hassle-free entry process.

  • Candidates can carry only three things – the AIIMS admit card, a valid Photo Identity card (Passport/Driving License/Voter ID card/ Aadhaar card etc.), and a recent colored passport sized photograph inside the examination hall.

  • Although there has been no particular AIIMS MBBS 2019 dress code specified for the candidates, it is expected that candidates will dress in accordance with the summer season.

  • Candidates should note that items such as clips, bands, large buttons, hats, caps, scarf, goggles, similar headgear, and thick-soled footwear should to be avoided.

  • Candidates wearing a particular headgear due to any custom or religion should reach the AIIMS exam centre early to allow the authorities with adequate time for frisking

  • Any kind of ornaments is not allowed to be worn on the day of the exam. No electronic devices capable of transmission or receipt of data such as mobile, wristwatches and others are also not permitted in the exam centre.

  • AIIMS MBBS exam centre and AIIMS, New Delhi will not have made any arrangements of keeping the belongings, thus candidates are advised to prepare themselves accordingly.

  • The AIIMS MBBS 2019 is a Computer Based Test (CBT) and the candidates should familiarize themselves with the procedure by attempting the AIIMS mock test which will available at the official website.

  • Candidates have been asked not to use the keyboard during the examination. The pop-up screen simple calculator will be available for the candidates to use during the exam.

  • The sequence of the questions and the subjects will be different for all the candidates, and the particular sequence for a candidate will be displayed in his/her monitor.

  • The answers need to be saved by clicking on the ‘Save’ button and those marked for 'Review' at the end of the exam will not be automatically saved and thus, not be evaluated.

  • For rough work, the back of the admit cards and the rough sheets provided at the examination are to be used which are to be submitted at the end of the exam. The answers of those candidates who do not submit these will not be evaluated.


AIIMS MBBS 2019 Exam Day Schedule

The online test centres for AIIMS MBBS 2019 will be opened prior to the commencement of the examination. The entry of the candidates will be closed 15 minutes prior to the start of the test. Candidates are advised to report an hour before to avoid the last minute rush. AIIMS MBBS 2019 Exam Day Guidelines – Things Required

The candidates appearing for AIIMS MBBS entrance test are required to carry the following things when reporting to the examination centre as per the AIIMS MBBS exam day guidelines 2019. Biometric data (digital photo and finger prints) of all the candidates will be collected once they are inside the examination hall. These include:

  • AIIMS MBBS 2019 Admit card

  • Valid Photo-Identity Proof (Voter ID, Aadhaar card, Passport, Driving licensce etc.)

  • A recent colored passport sized photograph

AIIMS MBBS 2019 Exam Guidelines – Prohibited items

Aspirants are not allowed to carry certain items in the examination centre. Candidates found in the possession of such items inside the examination hall will be prohibited from undertaking the test and cause cancellation of their candidature. The exam day guidelines of AIIMS MBBS 2019 lists a range of items that are candidates are not allowed to carry.

  • Electronic devices (e.g. mobile phones, smart/programmable watches, smartphones, calculators, iPad, tabs, electronic watches, etc.),

  • Slide rule, log books, study material of any type, geometry box, written or white (blank) paper/piece of paper, wallets, etc.

  • Ornaments, head gear, hair band, hair clips, belt, bags, credit cards and debit card are not allowed inside the examination hall.

AIIMS 2019 Exam Day Guidelines – Dos and Don’ts



Report to the examination centre on time to ensure that there is no rush in the last minute.

Copy from other candidates as it could lead to disqualification.

Remember to carry the admit card and a valid photo identity proof

Converse with anyone else other than the invigilator(s)

Co-operate with the authorities during the process of security check.

Attempt to note down the questions during the exam as it is considered to be a criminal act.

Maintain calm and focus on solving the questions

Leave the exam hall without handing over the admit card and rogh sheet to the invigilator.

Save the answers once satisfied.

Make use of the keyboard.
