Meghalaya AYUSH 2024 eligibility criteria

Only the aspirants who secured the NEET UG cutoff will be eligible for Meghalaya AYUSH counselling 2024. The eligibility criteria are as follows -

  • The candidate must have passed intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent examination recognised by the concerned state government and Andhra Pradesh education board with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually.

  • Aspirants should have scored a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (40% marks for reserved category students)

  • The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years as on 31st December, 2024.

  • The student should be medically fit and must present a certificate for the same. Failing to do so, no admission will be given.

Meghalaya AYUSH application form 2024 - Step-by-step process

The application form is available in offline mode only and no other means of submission will be entertained. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to fill out the Meghalaya AYUSH application form 2024.

  1. Go to the Meghalaya AYUSH counselling official website - neiah.nic.in and download the official prospectus. An application form will be attached with the prospectus.

  2. Select the course the candidate wishes to apply for.

  3. Enter all the personal details such as - candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, communication address, gender, DOB, religion, category, email ID and a valid mobile number.

  4. Enter all the qualification details of 10th standard and 12th standard.

  5. Enter the details of the NEET 2024 exam - NEET 2024 roll number, NEET 2024 all India rank, NEET 2024 category rank and NEET 2024 marks.

  6. Enter the details of the fee payment such as - Amount, demand draft number, date on which the DD is issued and the bank and branch name. The application fee is Rs.1,000 for the general category students and Rs.500 for the reserved category.

  7. Attach a self-attested copy of all the listed documents in the application form and mark the same in the application form.

The candidates will have to submit copies of certain documents listed on the application form. The duly filled application form along with the attached copies of documents need to reach the counselling body within the prescribed time. These documents are as follows -

  • 12th class certificate

  • Domicile certificate

  • Caste certificate (if applicable)

Meghalaya AYUSH merit list 2024

Once the registration window for Meghalaya AYUSH admissions 2024 is closed by the authority, a merit list will be published. The Meghalaya AYUSH 2024 merit list will be based on the NEET UG score, AIR, cut-off scores, eligibility criteria and various other factors. The merit list will be generated for 85% state quota seats in AYUSH UG courses (BAMS, BHMS).

Meghalaya AYUSH NEET 2024 merit list will include the name of the candidate, All India rank, NEET 2024 score. Aspirants whose names appear on the merit list will have to sit for the counselling rounds. During the counselling process, aspirants must provide their preference for courses, and colleges' preference.

Meghalaya AYUSH 2024 counselling and admission process

Once the Meghalaya AYUSH registration process is completed, the authority releases the dates for the Meghalaya AYUSH counselling 2024. Candidates will be able to select courses and colleges as per their preference. A merit list will be published based on the NEET UG scores. Only the aspirants fulfilling the eligibility criteria and securing the minimum cut-off will be able to sit in the offline counselling.

The method of selection is as follows -

  1. A combined state-wise & category-wise merit list of all the aspirants will be drawn based on their performance in the NEET 2024.

  2. Inter-se merit: In the case of two or more candidates securing equal marks in the inter-se merit shall be determined as per All India Rank in NEET-2024.

  3. Selected students will have to attend the counselling, document verification and medical examination at the Institute at their own cost on the notified date. At the time of document verification, candidates will have to attend in person and will have to produce the original mark sheets of the qualifying examination and other original documents such as proof of age, caste certificate, domicile certificate, character certificate, etc.

  4. Candidates who fail to attend the counselling/medical examination on the notified date shall forfeit their claim for admission and placement in the waiting list.

  5. The final result and other related notifications will be placed on the official website neiah.nic.in and the notice board of NEIAH, Shillong.

The Madhya Pradesh Medhavi Chhatra Yojana (also known as the Medhavi Yojana) provides scholarships to meritorious students based on their performance in the 12th board examinations.the percentage should be more than 75 percent for mp board students and for CBSE and icse it is 85 percent.


You can apply for scholarship and If you come into the meritorious students then the amount is even more than 25000.

If your daughter is currently studying in a CBSE affiliated school in Qatar and has been living abroad for the past few years, she will likely qualify for an NRI seat when applying for NEET, as she meets the criteria of being an Indian citizen residing abroad and completing her 10th and 12th education from a foreign country.

NRI students can apply NEET UG under NRI category.
