Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada will conduct the counselling for AP NEET 2026 admission. For admission under the 85% state quota seats, the authority conducts the online counselling of AP NEET UG on the official website, drntr.uhsap.in. Only aspirants who qualify the NEET 2026 exam can fill out and submit the application form. Based on the registered candidates marks, the AP NEET merit list is prepared and counselling is conducted.
Such candidates who will be enlisted in the merit list of AP NEET 2026 are required to get their documents verified, after which a final merit list is published. Only those candidates whose names appear on the final merit list are invited to participate in AP NEET counselling. The authority also organises the counselling process for AP NEET admission under the management quota seats.

The eligibility for AP NEET 2026 reflects the basic prerequisite conditions that candidates must meet to get admission to MBBS and BDS courses. The eligibility of NEET 2026 will be applicable for AP MBBS admission. The state-specific eligibility criteria are given below. The candidate must be domiciled in the state by fulfilling one of the following criteria
The local candidate is defined in the Presidential order.
The candidate or one of the candidate’s parents lived in the state for at least ten years, excluding the period where the aspirant has studied outside the state or the parents have resided outside Andhra Pradesh.
A candidate whose parents are employed by the Central or State Government, Public Sector Corporation Universities, Local Bodies, and other similar public institutions within the state to be eligible for AP MBBS BDS admission 2026.
The candidate whose spouse is in the employment by the State or Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies, Universities and educational institutions recognized by the Government or a University or Other competent authority of the state.
Medical aspirants are required to fill out the application form for AP NEET 2026 in online mode. To successfully submit the AP MBBS application form 2026, candidates will have to fill in details like NEET marks, rank, permanent address, and local and non-local status. At last, aspirants have to submit the AP MBBS 2026 application form prescribed fee of Rs 3,540 for the unreserved category and BC category. The reserved category candidates will have to pay Rs 2950. The details submitted by the candidates while filling out the AP NEET 2026 application form will be verified by the respective authority based on the uploaded certificates. Candidates can check below the list of documents that need to be verified-

Candidates who have studied outside Andhra Pradesh are required to show the resident certificate stating that she/he are residing in the state for 10 years.

Candidates who successfully submitted the application form are included in the provisional merit list of AP NEET 2026. The merit list is released separately for management quota and convener quota seats. The authority will also release a list of candidates who have qualified for NEET 2026 from the state. The list contains the candidate’s name, NEET roll number, NEET rank, score, and state merit rank. The mode of release of the AP NEET merit list 2026 is only online. The inclusion in the final merit list for AP MBBS admission 2026 will indicate that candidates are allowed to participate in the counselling process.
The authority will conduct the AP NEET 2026 counselling in three rounds, which include the first, second, and mop-up rounds. Before the commencement of AP MBBS/BDS counselling, aspirants need to provide their preferences for colleges as well as courses. Considering these choices filled, seats available, NEET result, reservation criteria and other factors, admission to AP MBBS will be granted. The eligibility of a candidate will be verified based on the uploaded copies of scanned certificates/ documents.

NTRUHS releases the AP NEET 2026 cutoff for the 85% state quota seats after the conclusion of the admission procedure. The cutoff reflects the last rank at which a NEET aspirant was granted admission in MBBS or BDS course. The cutoff of AP MBBS will be helpful in giving preferences and choices in online counselling.
