Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada, conducts the counselling for AP NEET 2024 admission. The authority has declared the stray round seat allotment result of AP NEET UG 2024 counselling on the official website drntr.uhsap.in. Candidates who are allotted seats in the stray round of AP NEET counselling 2024, need to report at their allotted colleges.

Only aspirants who fill out and submit the application form on or before the last date are included in the AP NEET merit list 2024. Such candidates who are enlisted in the merit list of AP NEET 2024 are required to get their documents verified after which a final merit list is published. Only those candidates whose names appear on the final merit list are invited to participate in AP NEET counselling. The authority also organises the counselling process for AP NEET admission 2024 under the management quota seats.

As many as 5335 seats offered in 31 medical colleges will be filled through counselling of AP NEET 2024. Authority will commence the process of AP NEET admission with the release of candidates who have qualified NEET. The eligibility for AP NEET 2024 reflects the basic prerequisite conditions that candidates must meet to get admission in MBBS and BDS courses. The eligibility of NEET 2024 will be applicable for AP MBBS admission. The state-specific eligibility criteria have been given below.

The candidate must be the domicile of the state by fulfilling one of the below-mentioned criteria

  • The local candidate is defined in the Presidential order.

  • The candidate or one of the candidate’s parents lived in the state for at least ten years excluding the period where the aspirant has studied outside the state or the parents have resided outside Andhra Pradesh.

  • A candidate whose parents are in employment by the Central or State Government, Public Sector Corporation Universities, Local Bodies, and other similar public institutions within the state to be eligible for AP MBBS BDS admission 2024.

  • The candidate whose spouse is in the employment of the State or Central Government Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies Universities and educational institutions recognized by the Government or a University or Other competent authority of the state.

Document verification for AP NEET admission 2024

The details submitted by the candidates while filling the AP NEET 2024 application form will be verified by the respective authority on the basis of uploaded certificates. Candidates can check below the list of documents that need to be verified-

  • NEET admit card

  • NEET score card

  • Class 10 pass certificate/Date of birth certificate

  • Class 12 or equivalent examination mark sheet

  • Transfer Certificate issued from the last attended institute

AP NEET Merit List 2024

Candidates who successfully submitted the application form are included in the provisional merit list of AP NEET 2024. The merit list will be released separately for management quota and convener quota seats. The authority will also release a list of candidates who have qualified NEET 2024 from the state. The list contains the candidate’s name, NEET roll no., NEET rank, score, and state merit rank. The mode of release of the AP NEET merit list 2024 is only online. The inclusion in the final merit list for AP MBBS admission 2024 will indicate that candidates are allowed to participate in the counselling process.

AP NEET Counselling 2024

Authority will conduct the AP NEET 2024 counselling in three rounds which includes the first, second and mop-up round. Before the commencement of AP MBBS/BDS counselling, aspirants need to provide their preferences of colleges as well as courses. Considering these choices filled, seats available, NEET result, reservation criteria and other factors, admission to AP MBBS will be granted. The eligibility of a candidate will be verified on the basis of the uploaded copies of scanned certificates/ documents.

NTRUHS will release the AP NEET 2024 cutoff for the 85% state quota seats after the conclusion of the admission procedure. The cutoff reflects the last rank on which a NEET aspirant was granted admission in MBBS or BDS course. The cutoff of AP MBBS will be helpful in giving preferences and choices in online counselling.
