    Candidates can go through the important highlights of the seat matrix of Assam NEET PG 2025.

    • Assam has a total of 722 seats available for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses.

    • A total of 50% State Quota seats are filled through state counselling. The remaining 50% AIQ seats are filled through MCC counselling.

    • To secure a seat, candidates must participate in the Assam NEET PG counselling.

    • The Assam NEET PG 2025 seat matrix is released for admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS) and PG Diploma in government and private institutions in the state.

    I am doing post graduation in pathology (MD pathology ) after finishing this degree will I be able to write neet pg again and do a different second pg in a different subject , Am I eligible to appear for neet pg after completing MD pathology?

    Hi,

    Yes, you are eligible. After completing Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Pathology, you can appear again for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate if you have a valid MBBS degree and registration with the National Medical Commission. However, government rules about funding or seat eligibility may vary.
