Educational qualifications:
The candidate should have completed B.Sc Nursing or B.Sc post basic nursing from a recognised institute in India.
Other requirements:
The candidate should be registered as a Nurse or Nurse and Midwife with the State Nursing Council.
The candidate should have one year of experience in a minimum fifty-bed registered hospital after acquiring the educational qualifications.
OR
Candidates with a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council recognised institute are also eligible given that they should be registered as Nurses and midwives in the State Nursing Council.
Candidates with a Diploma in GNM should have two years of experience in a minimum 50 bedded hospital.
