• Indian or Overseas Citizen of India (OCIs) are eligible to apply

• Candidates must hold an MBBS degree from a recognized institute.

• Candidates completing their medical degrees from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States of America are not required to appear for the FMGE. They need to directly register with the National Medical Council (NMC) and State Medical Council (SMC).

• Applicants are required to submit a relevant proof for passing the final examinations of the qualifying degree.

FMGE June 2026 Application Form: How to Fill?

The FMGE application form 2026 can be filled at nbe.edu.in. The application process involves several steps where candidates have to provide personal and academic details to complete the application process. The online process of FMGE application form 2026 for the June session can be checked here.

FMGE 2026 registration: To register for FMGE exam, candidates need to visit the official website, natboard.edu.in and their details such as name, nationality, date of birth (DOB), gender, and others. Once the details are filled, provide contact details such as email address and mobile number. Once registered, a unique login ID and password will be generated and applicants will also receive the FMGE login details on their registered mobile number and email address.
Submission of FMGE application form: After login with the newly created credentials, applicants will have to click on the ‘fill the application form tab'. In the exam form, candidates are required to submit their personal and academic details such as parents’ details, MBBS degree details, class 12 details, name of college/school, year of passing, and others. In addition, aspirants need to submit their preference for the FMGE exam centre from the list of exam cities available.

Uploading of necessary documents: In this step, aspirants need to upload their passport-size photograph and signature in the application form in the prescribed format and size.

What After FMGE June 2026 Application Form?

After filling out the application form successfully, the NBE provides the FMGE correction window to the registered candidates. The FMGE edit window will be opened in two stages. In the first stage, through which applicants can modify or edit the necessary details in the application form. Later, NBE allows candidates to edit the images of the documents such as photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression they have uploaded during the final edit window. The candidates must note that there will be no facility to edit or modify the details in the application form after the closing of the correction window.
