    With the recent confusion triggered by a typographic error in the JEE (Main) 2026 Information Bulletin, many NEET aspirants are currently asking: Is calculator allowed in NEET 2026?. In the earlier released information bulletin, the NTA said that an onscreen standard calculator will be allowed throughout the exam, which kept students wondering has NTA allowed calculator for NEET 2026 too.     No, NTA has never allowed calculators (of any kind) in NEET. The authority always puts calculators among the prohibited items in every NEET information bulletin released so far. Traditionally, NEET UG has been held in a pen-and-paper format with rigorous security checks and a ban on electronic devices.
