NEET Biology Question Paper - The National Eligibility cum entrance Test (NEET) is the single largest undergraduate medical entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) every year. Biology is a single subject that comprises a maximum number of total questions in the NEET exam. A maximum of 360 marks can be obtained in the NEET 2024 biology exam. Interphase represents the phase between two successive M-phases.

The interphase lasts more than 95% of the duration of the cell cycle, also called the resting phase.
The cell cycle is divided into two phases: interphase and M- phase. During interphase, the cell grows and makes a copy of its DNA. While during the M phase, the cell separates its DNA into two sets and divides its cytoplasm forming two new cells. Interphase is divided into three subphases i.e. G1 phase, S phase, and G2 phase. Thus, the sequence of the phase of the cell cycle is G1 → S → G2→ M

What is the difficulty level of the NEET Biology Previous year Question Paper?
Previously, the overall difficulty level of the NEET biology question paper was easy to moderate and questions were scoring. The biology NEET question paper involves questions in the form of tables and matches the following. The number of questions asked from botany and zoology was approximately equal in the NEET Biology question paper.
The NEET biology question paper includes 90% of questions NCERT-based. As per the NEET topic-wise analysis, this time the maximum number of questions in the paper were asked from Cell Biology, Biomolecules, and Genetics. Apart from this, questions from all three topics were asked in both Botany and Zoology. Questions from Ecology were also asked in both Botany and Zoology.

Hello there,
If you are planning to appear for NEET in 2025, and continue you education after 2 years of passing, it wouldn't be possible. Your application, score and rank of the 2025 exam will not be counted after a year or two. In this case, you have to re-appear for the NEET Exam in 2027.

Yes, a foreign student who has successfully finished their secondary education at the 10+2 level abroad is qualified to sit for the NEET exam; these students are classified as NRIs, overseas candidates, or international candidates.The following are the requirements for eligibility for such candidates:
You need to have completed your 10+2 exam with English and one of the required disciplines being either chemistry, biology, physics, or biotechnology.
In the 10+2 test, a minimum of 50% of total points are needed.
The rules of MCI and the relevant university/INSTITUTE will decide the equivalentity of the results and admission in colleges.
